Ok, see y'all later. I have to go to work now and internet is wonky at home as well.
Okay, talk to you later.

Well, how is that different than normal card play?

You can play a card every turn in other games.

Unless I'm missing something.

(I'll give that info a read later...)

Some card games have you play the card, then it goes to the graveyard.

Creatures, Lands, Artifacts and Enchantments are called "Permanents" because they usually stay from turn-to-turn.

Sorceries and instants, however don't..

Yeah, sounds pretty common-sense to me.

We did that in the Warriors of Myth card game...

So, what kind of deck do you prefer to use?

I have 20+ decks and my main one is... complicated, but to put it simply its primary color is colorless with secondary color blue and tertiary colors are everything else. It uses all the colors well.

Cards included in my main deck: Avacyn, Angel of Hope; Primordial Hydra; and Pathrazer of Ulamog.

All pure? That's no fun in my opinion, I like my decks to be a blend of colors like my main one. They're a little harder to play but for me that's half the fun. Plus pure decks are somewhat more easily predictable as they have a more limited array of cards that they can use. Hybrids have the disadvantage of not always having enough mana for a specific card but it balances out in that they're slightly harder to counter.

One fun combo: Avacyn, Angel of Hope (White) paired with Elgaud Shieldmate (Blue) plus Avatar of Hope (White) paired with Elgaud Shieldmate (Blue) plus Melira, Sylvok Outcast (Green).

Avacyn: 8/8, Makes controllers permanents all Indestructible.
Avatar: 4/9, Can block any number of creatures.
Melira: Negates Infect and causes all -1/-1 and poison counters to disappear while she's on the field. (If I recall correctly)
Shieldmate: It AND the
creature it is paired with both become Hexproof.

Mentioned that combo to a friend and their eyes went wide with fear at that plus Primordial Hydra paired with Elgaud Shieldmate.

I play pure decks because I don't play often enough to bother making complex strategies. Besides, I haven't lost yet with my black deck and in my opinion "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

True that is a point. I play on a (pretty much) regular basis with my cousins so we're constantly trying to outdo one another, but they always buy two fatpacks when a new set is released giving them 270 new cards to use. Aaaaargh! I guess this is partially why I'm glad I got a summer job as a lifeguard, the other being I can save up for university (I never use college in place of university since 'College' is the French word for 'Secondary/Middle School').

Hmm if this happens then a League of legends rp is possible here. I'm sure one has been done already, but the story behind the game is interesting since all the players are summoners and the characters are champions for the institute of war.

Je sais.

@Everyone: Oh, and by the way, my main deck has a mixture of 22 lands, 19 creatures, and 19 others. Less lands than the amount suggested by WotC, but it works for me.

I understand. This one might be more difficult to learn, unless you have at least a basic understanding of M:TG.
