You know, now you're making Gilgamesh sound childish. "You shouldn't have something that isn't yours." Fact is I see this as Kagehana earned the use of the techniques by beating Tirin so I'm just having her reclaim what is hers. And she doesn't have Tirion's power either way, just the techniques. How many times do I have to say that?

And I am protective of mine as well. The smite removed any trace of Tirion's power, to gain it back she would have to face Tirion again.

A smite can do that. A smite could wipe out a third of a nation's population.

I feel that the reason that this is happening is that others feel the Clone-Blade is too powerful. I have no problem with it enabling the speedy learning of mundane techniques, however, the extent of other powers if far beyond what many of your other objects do.

I have no problem with, say, allowing the Clone-Blade to enable you to replicate the swooping attacks of a flying foe- but only if an outside source of flight is obtained. Likewise, various techniques that draw on certain types of power would require you to obtain that kind of power yourself, rather than it be given to you.

If you can obtain a source of Spectral Energy, then any techniques the blade contains that invoke that power would become available. But not before.

Does this compromise satisfy everyone? If not, I can modify it, or simply make other allowances.

That works fine with me, and if she gains Tirion's techniques again I would even let her keep them unless she specifically gets Gilgamesh's attention.

I'll agree to it only if I can get someone to tell me exactly what Spectral Enegy is otherwise I have no choice to treat it as regular energy because I see no differences between it and normal energy which would mean that it is absolutely copiable with no extra sources. Capiche?

BTW the light swords just involved mana right? And are thus copiable without specialenergy sources? Though since Hikaru's going to train Kagehana in light magic anyway, that's going to become redundant.

Spectral Energy is Tirion's specific type of energy with its own special properties, it is a type of energy and mana unique to him at this moment.

The name alone makes me think that someone among Uburra-Namall's people would have it as well (one of them having Astral Projection and going around as a specter). And I still don't know how Spectral Energy is unique with that description.

It is just a unique type of energy, how hard is that to understand. That is like saying that because Naram, my shardmind hero, is the best with Arcane energy then he should have every power My heroes, your heroes, Zale's heroes, etc. just because they involve magic as well. Naram would not be able to use Pike's ocean powers because that power is unique to Pike's race.

Should Tirion be able to use any unique light powers Kagehana learns simply because his power is light?

Perhaps the brand of spectral energy is specific to Tirion.

Like, it only produces a psychic energy signature unique to Tirion.

And you're right, some among the Boquabians will be able to astral-project and channel spirits, etc. but they likely don't produce the same kind of spectral energy Tirion does.
