Well, This is Gilgamesh, God of Conflict. He'll thrive off the controversy.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

I don't really mind them seeing, I can edit the post so that Gilgamesh doesn't disappear though if you're wanting to do something.
All Gilgamesh visibly did was point at her though, but the fact that he was in the stands like that would draw attention.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Visible appearances don't really have as much meaning when people have magic. Ever hear of auras and psychometrics? It's never really a good idea to do things like that in public places. All I'm saying is that he should wait until Kagehana's in a more private area before doing the Smite.
@Zale: Even if you're a god of Conflict there should be certain types of conflict you don't want aimed at you. Notably that which is against you. BTW just to put it out, if we restart I'm going with the Goddess of Festivities and Light. Her Major Goddesses will have the domains purple and Justice, green and Hope, & yellow and Power. Hope you can figure out what festival those refer to.

Why would we restart?

Eh, It shouldn't be so obvious, they may know something happened but not the details. Kagehana did appear perfectly fine right after.
Gilgamesh would not care that he did it in the open. I have an idea of what I would use in the next LoC as well, though I still have a lot to complete in the current one.

Any number of reasons: We have an/the apocalypse, things get too chaotic for some reason, etc. Plus, you threatened it at one point.

Not seriously.
Mostly.. We do know that if we do a tournament again, we should make sure to only allow a few contestants..

Fine. I'll leave things the way they are for now. Though, you do realize that if Gilgamesh reset the Clone-Blade to when it was first created, that was when it was in Mina's hands and now it's starting out in Kagehana's hands which means it automatically regains all of the techniques again. I'm just arguing for making it look better, 'cause the Smite ends up with no real result.

How would it regain all the techniques when I removed the knowledge and experience of the techniques from both Kagehana and the Clone Blade?
I realize that she can gain skills again, but the event was still plot necessary.

Do you recall the description I gave for the Clone-Blade? I'm sure you can check the wiki as well. "A katana that can copy the blade-based techniques of anyone that any wielder of the Clone-Blade has defeated." It says nothing about memories or knowledge, but if you really want me to, I can have Mina or Illusia use an Inherent Miracle too negate Gilgamesh's Inherent Smite. No consequences, they'll just think it was someone playing a bad prank, but it works for me either way.

If people start just expending free actions to cancel other free actions there will be consequences.

At the moment all you are losing is Tirion's techniques, considering the clone-blade can recopy your own heroes rather easily.
If you complicate this, Gilgamesh could make things much worse.

I'll pay for the Miracle if need be. Plus, it should be more effective for Mina to use a Miracle on her races than for Gigamesh to use Smite on her races, especially since Mina's has the Domain of Light to bring the lightbulb on in Kagehana's mind if you get my joke.

She still couldn't restore Tirion's powers. Tirion's powers are no longer in the blade, she would have to regain them from Tirion to do so.

I've seen people do things like that, just reverse the other action with their own.
Never ends well. You get "I did this" "No you didn't!" "Yes I did!" "No you didn't!" Forever.

Consider Mina's land's protection. Gilgamesh will have a hard time making things worse for them. And I do not like having my Artifacts or Heroes smited. Plus, thinking about it now, Gilgamesh is going against his own domain by smiting a hero.

No, he really isn't going against his domain.
At this point, all Kagehana has to do is to retrain slightly, she wouldn't have Tirion's power but overall would be just the same. Do you really want Gilgamesh to have to do something more?

All the Clone-Blade needs is for its wielder to defeat them once. A Smite cannot erase the fact that Kagehana beat Tirion. She might not recall the techniques until her memories are restored, but she will still have beaten him. Thus, the Clone-Blade would have use of Tirion's techniques yet again.
@Zale: Unfortunately, as you should have realized by now, I am highly defensive of anything I create, whether it's in a story or a game.
