Yes, I agree it's a definite relief. Ok, now. The Magatama Necklace is my newest Artifact and is actually 3 Artifacts together on a string. The 3 Artifacts are Magatama and they each have a different power. The first can create a protective barrier for the wielder, the second can generate large amounts of mana for the wielder, and the third amplifies all spells cast by the wielder. What do you all think of the Magatama Necklace?

I think you have far too many artifacts, but it seems decent.

And I agree.

Thank you for the compliment. If you think I have too many Artifacts, well I have another 19 that I plan to make eventually along with another 2 Divine Artifacts. That's a total of ... 138 motes... That's going to take 46 days.... T_T. And I also want to make another race as well, another 2 days for a total of 48 days. T_T

I'd make more Artifacts, but they have so little use compared to Divine Artifacts.
Divine Artifacts are also one of the best things for me to actually use my motes on at this point in the RP.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

I can almost guarantee you that most people will not remember any of them. Like I said, you have far too many artifacts already.

I disagree because heroes can only use 1 Divine Artifact at a time, but they can use multiple Artifacts simultaneously, plus all pantheons with an overgod have a maximum number of Divine Artifacts that they can wield when fully filled: 37-65.

Maybe if I ever get that high in Divine Artifacts
For now though, I don't get much benefit for Artifacts.

That is why we have the Wiki. If you are not willing to use or update it, that's not my fault. I will do an update of my pages soon, probably on Friday at the latest hopefully.

It's not truly about remembering things. You just have too many for it to be reasonable.

Actually, I made a mistake. Dependant on the pantheon's make-uup, it can be from 37-57 Divine Artifacts that they can wield if each wields a Divine Artifact that can only be wielded by one being at a time. Your pantheon can wield up to 45 Divine Artifacts if all gods are fully equipped.

That's why I liked the Utility Divine Artifacts, it equips your Pantheon without overloading them with Divine Artifacts.
Plus it allows the others to catch up faster eventually.

Reasonable? Hey, as I recall, the Greeks had hundreds of gods and several people could recall all of those as well as several dozen, maybe hundreds of Artifacts so I don't see why a couple dozen are unmanageable (Hinduism and Shintoism had even more if I recall correctly with gods sometimes changing dependant on region with Shintoism).

This is not the Greek pantheon and if you didn't want my opinion you should not have asked for it. Instead of instantly thinking I'm wrong, try listening to me first and hear me out. I'm offering you advice about story telling.
The biggest mistakes you can make are: - Too many characters - Too much power (mary sue-ness) - Not enough character development. This is still a story. Just cause it has a wiki doesn't mean making hundreds of different objects or characters is a good idea. So take my advice or don't, but do not just try and defend your stance on this without acknowledging my help.

I didn't ask for your opinion on whether or not I had too many Artifacts. You're the one who chose tto start that route. I only asked for an opinion on the Magatama Necklace nothing else.
As for the story telling part, who's to say that my creating several Artifacts won't set things up for later plot? After all, your fear statue hasn't had a role in anything until now, am I right? If you want to make a story then things need to be set up for it beforehand and that means things need to be created. And as I've said before: My friends always give quizzes on the least memorable things and those things always turn up as important later on.

I could see you creating artifacts for future plot points...but making a veritable arsenal doesn't really have any point other than you trying to overpower your characters.
You asked me what I thought of your artifacts. I told you and you immediately tried to tell me I was wrong. That doesn't seem very nice now does it? You can't go about saying you want advice on story writing and then reject advice that's given to you. well you could, but it's rather counterproductive....not to mention rude. Like I've said multiple times now. Either take my advice or don't, but don't just dismiss it.

Immediately? I did not immediately tell you that you were wrong. I made a statement that I was going to make more and that's when you started telling on me that I shouldn't make more and I only asked for opinions on the Magatama Necklace. You are the one who chose to volunteer your opinion on everything else and go down this road.
As for story advice, I am listening to it. The problem though is that nothing I make is going to immediately become relevant. It will take time (especially with the tournament) and you appear to want the instant reason as to how it is relevant. You need to wait for that as the reasons will be a long time in coming as everything is slowed down right now (in story that is). All good things take time to develop and I do try to use your advice as I'm trying to narrow my focus on how many characters I narrate at a time. As for the last part about rudeness, people only call others what they themselves think that they are.

You are the one who threw the first insult to which I responded by posting that you 'guaranteed that people would not remember ANY of my Artifacts.' I see that as an insult that nothing I think of is worth yours or anyone else's time. I forgive you for it, but I would like an apolopgy in return.
I do not lightly throw aside anyone's advice as you might believe, but that is your choice as to what you believe. If you wish for me to apologize for anything I have said then I do wish to recieve an apology for the stuff in the first part of this post.

I don't want an apology, you've made it clear that you don't want my advice so I'll just leave it at that.
