"I had planned on it. I've had time to prepare enough for everyone. I'm actually a bit disappointed that not absolutely all of us are present, though absences are understandable."

"It's a wonderful idea Watchman. Our communication will be greatly facilitated by this gift. I think I speak for everyone when I thank you for your ingenuity. Now, I believe there was a matter of the rebuilding after the ravishes of the calamity?"

[Philote]

"That is the main reason for my presence here today, Crav" Gil the Second states before addressing the rest of those at the meeting. "As you all know, I am only standing here now because of the fate that has befallen my pantheon. The nations of my homeland are already making preparations to deal with the hardships that will come with the loss of their actions and protection and as I have recently learned, their domains. While we will not give in without fight, we do not wish face a futile effort. We need the presence of a Spirit within our lands. This is why, after great debate with the Council of Heroes, we have decided to ask Crav to preside over our lands."

Eyes were on Crav as he mulled over Gil the Second's proposition. He Took a swing from the flask before him before answering.

"I will accept this responsibility should the rest of our gathered council deem it appropriate."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"I agree to the mortal's proposition," Mina replies eyeing the crystal shards still, clearly not having heard what the proposition was.

[Philote]

"It seems no one disagrees" Gil the Second states "Thank you Crav. Gilgamesh felt the need to ally with you before and I feel that it is appropriate for his creations to do the same. Your knowledge and inventions will surely add to our society."

"Then it is settled. After the our deliberations have ended I will travel to Gilgamesh's lands and help to rebuild there. Now, what other business is there to attend to?"

[Zaleramancer]

Waverider nodded and snapped her fingers. An Cecaelia made his slow way forward, translucent skin flickering in various colors as his tentacles moved him. His arms held a small chest, bound in some sort of net.

He placed it carefully on the table before the sea goddess.

"Thank you, Lucius." She said dismissively, before standing.

"Now, who dropped this piece of shit in my ocean?" Waverider said, as the net was removed and the chest opened.

A palling wave of hostility radiated through the room, catching and drawing forward the mythical beings among the mortals.

Inside the chest was a dully metallic candle that glowed with a watery blue flame.

Crav stared at the candle with fascination, "What is it? I've not seen anything like it before."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

If you were looking at the Watchman's face, you might get the impression of a raised eyebrow. He looked to the Spymaster, who spoke diligently.

"Sir, none of our people reported anything like that."

"None of them? The Watchers? Those semi-transparent floating sheets I brought into the world specifically to tell me things like this?"

"I'm afraid, sir, that observing the entire ocean is a bit beyond my current staffs capabilities. Perhaps if my staff were expanded..." She said, not at all trying to be subtle. He turned slowly to Mik.

"This wasn't him, was it?" He asked Mik Hael. "Some last spite weapon?"

[Mik_Hael]

  Mik's form shimmered slightly, any hostility added to the broiling crock pot of chaos was akin to a drop of water falling into the ocean."....No, if any incarnation of me were to leave a secret weapon behind, it would be something more subtle than a chest dropped into the middle of nowhere, Like a virus buried into the genetic code of the surviving species, or a sort of fungal growth hiding between dimensions....although, if you want to know who dropped it I might be able to help.

Mina hisses. This was something not of her gods, not with the effect it would have on the balance of Môsôoriku's Mythos and Races. Mina slowly asks "Who among us made this... horrifying... candle? It certainly wasn't me, not with what it could do to my people. It's an example of why I forged my land's protection in the first place."

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"What does it do?" The Watchman asks.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Mina moves over to the Watchman and almost punches him in the face before stopping herself and crying out, "Can't you feel it? Or are you just deaf and dumb to the flow of magic? It's an Artifact that can make Mythos attack people for no reason! I can confirm that for sure since I used to be one!"

[Mik_Hael]

Slightly annoyed at being ignored yet again the god turns towards the venting goddess and cracks a fanged smile, "In that case, you should be able to contain yourself a bit better shouldn't you sweetheart."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"I think it may be best to close that chest for the time being, " Crav interjected as the crowds began to shuffle in the stands. The Mythos present were beginning to show the symptoms of the artifacts effect.

[Zaleramancer]

Waverider pushed the chest closed. The net wrapped around it once more with a watery snap as the blue light vanished.

"I still want to know who made it... and why it was in my ocean."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"I think we would all like to know that answer to that question." Crav agreed, his voice becoming stern and flat as he gazed around the room at the assortment of godly personalities.

"It is clearly a dangerous thing to leave lying about and I'm sure it is not a welcome plague on your oceans in this time of rebuilding."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"I agree that it is dangerous," Mina responds. "I believe that we should destroy it. There is nothing good that can come of it at all in my opinion."
