"Excellent, I look forward to hearing them. And think about that Boon. Hmmmm....."
What else did he want to say, be good everyone, don't let this happen again because otherwise I might just go spare? No, probably best not to share that with everyone else. Man, this "no more secrets" thing was just getting off to a splendid start. "Well, that's all for me. You'll probably all get improved talismans sometimes next month, after I get most of my strength back. Miracleing enough foot to feed a desert city every week takes a lot out of you. Anyone have anything else they wish to do, now is the time."

Yes, as a matter of fact..." Crav mumbled as he returned to his seat. Looking around at the assembled faces before him Crav's demeanor lightened significantly. He smiled in a friendly manner.
"We've all seen more destruction and pain than any of us should in the past few days and I thought we could all use something to look forward to. Something that we can all appreciate. Something to remind us that not everything is lost." Crav paused to let his words sink in before continuing." For the past few weeks, I have not been present among much of the rebuilding efforts. It is now time to reveal where I have been. I have been building, or rather rebuilding something very special." Crav smiled more than he'd ever before as he tapped his cane on the ground, the crack of wood on floor echoed through the room. "And now, I give back the world it's moon..." -------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Click Here For Animated Version] Far off in Crav's lands the ground began to rumble and crack. deep beneath the earth where crav's workshop hid a bright light grew. the moon's many pieces, so carefully reshaped began to rise. Light poured from the many crevasses that began to form across the ground. barely able to contain it, the earth burst open and upwards lifted the heavy fragments of the moon. The rose in graceful arcs, slowly pulling together in a grand display of light and power. With a final silent shudder, they touched and forever became one once more, hanging in the sky as a beacon of hope. The stars blazed brightly around it as if welcoming it back to the heavens. Crav could barely keep from beaming, his joy at the unveiling of his gift was too much to hide.

Gil the Second rose from his seat speechless as he stared at the horizon. Even being in the company of the world's leading Spirits, he had believe he was accustomed to the displays of power these divine beings could accomplish. What he was witnessing though outclassed everything but the mightiest feats from the last war and redoubled his resolve in choosing Crav to lead his lands.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

The mortals go crazy.
Cheering, hugging, leaping to their feet and rushing outside to view the new moon. A chant goes up, above all the white noise of thousands of people talking at once: Cravs name, chanted over and over again. The Watchman can only stare in awed wonder as the moonlight shines down through the domed roof. "How were you able to keep this wonderful surprise from me?" "Sir, my staf-" "Shhhh, calm down. Sometimes surprises are good things." He puts his feet up on the table and leans back in his seat, just looking up. "Well, I don't see how anyone will top that. This meeting is adjourned, I think." He he begins to laugh. -------------------------- In a room full of stuffed animals, something with all the appearance of a young man opens his eyes and sits up. He rubs his head and looks around his strange bed mates. This was strange, and disorienting, and he kind of wanted to go back to sleep. "Reasonable! Hey bro!" said someone, flinging themselves onto him. "BS?" he asks, his voice shaking. The Babysitter pulls herself off him, smiling. "Hey, how ya feeling?" "Like I had my soul ripped out." This gives her pause. He sighs. "But other than that, yes, I suppose I'm all right. Why am I surrounded by dolls?" "I thought you might like the company?" "I hate their dead eyes. Get them away from me." -------------------------- "Party in Spectropolis" Shouted Horizon, sprinting down the street with single minded glee. A hodgepodge of student trailed her, and together they put on their own light. A hodgepodge of color, noises, and shapes filled the air above them, a glittering tribute to the moon. -------------------------- Out in the desert, near the hole the vandals had crawled out of, the glittering moon cast a light on a grisly scene. When a Vandal is killed, it leaves chunks of itself behind. Exoskeletons, limbs, and strange fluids dotted the mouth of the hole. Some of the incendiary liquid had caught fire on the ground, casting flickering shadows. In the moonlight, the dark black carapace of a monster glistened and shone as it withdrew it's hand from the one remaining males chest. It was much bulkier than a vandal, but possessed the same insectictoid shape. The back armor, meant to protect the delicate wings, was fused together into a hardened shell, a purplish light jutting out from the bottom of it. It's body menaced with spikes, and it was on one of these that the male hand been impaled. Two gods sitting smiled to herself. She thought that the breeding process had to have something to do with these weaklings. They had spilled it all, literally and figuratively, once she had shown up. The royal jelly inside their bodies, that coursed through them just a poison coursed in the females. She rubbed the sticky purple substance over her fingers. She dropped the struggling man. He was of no use anymore. She threw his jelly into the pot, along with the others. It was a shame she hadn't gotten a real opponent to test her new powers against, but with all the security she would just end up bringing a god down on her head if she tried. That wouldn't be a fight, that would be a squish. But with this, she could gather followers. After all, she was the only one of her kind. A monster, an aberration, a villain. But if she was a queen, if there were many more of her, then he wasn't a villain anymore. She would be a people. And then that fool god would have no choice but to protect her right to exist. She grabbed the pot, and felt the acute feeling of weightlessness as the purple light grew more intense. She lifted off the ground easily, and diapered off into the desert. Warrior Queen Two Gods Sitting. Of yes, she liked the sound of that....

The sea-born goddess gaped, appropriately enough, like a fish. For obvious reasons, the moon was an important thing in her immortal life. Dancing with the tides, the moon was.. so much.
Tears in her eyes, Waverider choked out a reply. "Beautiful.. t-thank you."

Uburra-Namall stood now from her purply-pink and flower-fragrant chair. The conflicted arguing had not been her concern; she was not to blame, nor was there any knowledge to give that she hadn't already given. And Mik did nothing to impress her with his show of umbrageous malevolence. In fact, it took everything in the Fair Goddess's power to restrain her new domain of Passion, lest she slap the living hell out of him for his doppelganger's most grievous actions. And new races? They arose left and right, like vapors from a boiling pot. Here one second, gone the next.
A new moon, on the other hand...The goddess sighed. It was certainly Crav's masterwork, she thought, looking up to inspect its perfect array of rocky imperfection. His piece de resistance. Another moment to observe, and with a smile, she replied simply, "I rather like it." Walking over to grab Crav in an affectionate embrace, she called back over her shoulder to Jissei and Khadai, "I really do like it. Don't you two like it?" "Hmph. It's all right, I suppose." Uburra-Namall perked up, stopping midway before landing a kiss on Crav's cheek. Jissei. And to Uburra-Namall's unpleasant surprise, the sound of Khadai's voice soon followed. "Indeed. I mean, really. It's just a moon. I really don't see all the fuss."

This was amazing. Mina stared at the rebuilt moon in wonder. Her races and pantheon at home were probably just as amazed as she was. How long had it taken Crav to do this feat? Mina turns to Crav, "This is the best thing you could've done in my opinion. How long did it take you to ... repair it?"
