The Dome

The Shining Silver creature fluttered into a window and began to flow through the air near the top of the dome, slowly turning in circles and descending.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Gil the Second strides through the door to the glass dome where the meeting would be held and a chorus of voices rise from those native to Gilgamesh's lands at his arrival.

He makes eye contact with those already in the room before walking confidently to stand in a military stance next to his old master's throne.

"I am the Burning Dragon, Gilgamesh the Second, chosen representative of Gilgamesh's creations" He says, introducing himself to the Spirits.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Docks

"Right away, please follow-" The Witness stars, before eying the strange boat. "That wasn't on our record of incoming traffic. You!" it says pointing at the Watcher. "See who they are. Now my lady, if you would be so kind." The Witness says, leading the giant woman out of the surf to the bridge leading to the Dome.

The Watcher floats grumbling onto the ship, something about witnesses being the textbook definition of classy, then up to the Dwarf that looks most important.

"Good day," it intones in it's best impression of class. "May I ask your name, sir?"

South Street

Horizon makes what looks like a "ohhhhh" shape with her weird mouth, then calls to the two students that had come with her. "Hey, Fetch, Ilium. How about you guy show these guys our lab?"

Fetch, a Dragonborn that towers over practically everyone in the group, gives her an appraising stare. "You mean, that warehouse in Market where we throw things at a wall to see what sticks?"

"That one, yeah?"

"Are you sure you'll be all right by yourself?" Ilium, the Durhian from before, asks her.

"I don't need to read to get to the dome. Look, you can see it from here if you squint had enough."

Both of them nod, and then take the sorcerers to go and see the "lab," leaving Horizo and Auda to themselves. Horizon smiles as she walks. "There you go! Ilium will talk their ears off about how textures effects Pitch effects, and Fetch is pretty immune to fire."

Crav perked up as the new gods and representatives entered the dome. He recognized the God-Emperor vaguely, but the one who announced himself as Gilgamesh the Second was foreign to him as was the strange Silver creature that entered the dome.

Crav acknowledged the boisterous representative of Gilgamesh first.

"Welcome, Gilgamesh the Second. I am Crav. The Sweet Lady to my left is Sonia and the rather large, mechanical man to my right is Von Trapt. We're pleased you could attend in Gilgamesh's stead.

As Jassi headed off with the Seven-Sin Sisters to tend to the ailing masses, Uburra-Namall followed the Watchdog in observant silence. Everything was so broken. Even things left untouched by the ravage of war, seemed markedly tainted with grief and mourning; saddening reminders of the order and peace that was. Reminders of the order and peace they hoped now they would restore.

Arriving at the Hall, Uburra-Namall smiled weakly, remarking that it was just as grand and handsome as she remembered it. Yes, indeed, quite simple and quite handsome, just like the Watchman.

She could nearly perceive it on the back of her neck as Jissei and Khadai rolled their eyes in unison.

She turned quick to face them, eyes stern and scolding, and the air seemed to subtly shift direction. Scorn and unfeeling, pitiless disdain fell from their faces right away, melting into something that resembled remorse. Uburra-Namall knew better, though.

Indeed, it was good that they stayed by her side, she remarked, for little children should never be allowed to go alone, especially when they were incapable of perceiving the harsh reality of the world around them. Despite the strange feeling that her remark left them feeling, neither dared rebut as the Fair Goddess turned to follow the Watchdog inside the Hall.

The sound of a door opening, accompanied by myriad voices, rings across he floor.

"In there. It might help with you if you see all the others. In fact, Dephos, you can explain his history to him better than I can. Go, in."

The Watchman strolls into the room, Mik and Dephos floating beside him. "Sorry I wasn't here to greet any of you when you arrived here." he says, striding to the table. "But look what I found."

He heaves the Monsters Kings dessicated form onto the table and takes his seat, the chair warping itself into something plain but comfortable. He leans forward.

"Crav, before anything else do you think you can create some sort of box to hold this Thing. Not presently, of course, but after this meeting is all done."

"Excellent. I knew I could count on you."

The Spymaster looms over his shoulder. "Sir, should it be here?"

"I'm of two minds on that point. On the one hand, it did something earlier and I'm not sure what. It could be disruptive. On the other, I kind of want all eyes upon it. To stop it if it does it again."

Besides, he wanted mortal eyes on it to. It was pathetic to look at. Certainly not what the people thought a dark, apocalyptic monster would look like. From somewhere in the stands, there was a snap and a single flash of light. He was glad he could smile without anyone seeing it.

"Greetings Crav. It is my understanding that Gilgamesh and you had good relations" Gil the Second replies.

"Now, Watchman, I require a seat. It would not be right to take my masters."

"Of course. There are several of mine who will not be in attendance for personal reason."

Three of the chairs pull themselves out from the table.

"You may use one of theirs."

Uburra-Namall stops at the sight of the table, straightening her beautifully adorned dress, "And where should we sit? I require space for myself, Khadai and Jissei. And I shall soon be rejoined by Jassi and my seven daughters."

Mina watches as the gods arrive and take their spots as well as Gilgamesh 2 introducing himself and checks their attitudes and behaviors for how they viewed themselves in comparison to others. It was quite interesting too, what with Hazet's display of pride and the small Gilgamesh's declaration.

Hazet, flanked by his sycophants, advanced to examine the figure of the Monster King.

"This is the beast that brought forth apocalypse?"

Docks

Gartha moved with as much dignity as a thirty foot fish out of water could, only nearly stomping a person to death twice.

Alright, five times.

Fine. Seven.

South Street

Auda sighed as the wizards stomped off.

"I'm glad to be rid of them. My fellow council members trust each other like fire trusts water. Their agents were to be my escort. I am eternally grateful that they became so irked as to be easily lead."

"He was much more impressive when we fought. Even after Gil killed himself to break his most powerful weapon, he was still strong enough to bury my own axe in my chest."

"What happened to him after he eluded my grasp is the only dark spot in this whole affair. I sent the mortal Aox after him when he fled. I think that Mik may have become involved at some point. Aox is nowhere to be found, and they," he waved to both the shriveled husk and the amnesic Mik, "ended up like this. I have no way of knowing what went on."

Uburra-Namall strode over, and grabbed Crav into an affectionate embrace, "I've heard nothing of him. I'm happy that you are feeling better, though."

He needed not speak; the goddess could already feel the improvement of Crav's condition within his own heart. And indeed, it gladdened her.

Gil the Second sat himself upon the chair closest to Gilgamesh's throne, not quite having enough collective Divine Power from his Artifacts to transform the chair into something fitting him. He listened to the Spirit's discussion, absorbing information that had been beyond his scope during the world altering events.

"Perhaps you can help us in that regard." The Watchman says to Gilgamesh. "I have reason to believe that this battle took place on your island. Did you feel anything at all?"
