Pazo charged.
Bisera released her magic. An arc of electricity struck Pazo, sending his mind and body reeling. The other Sea-Folk, following the directions of Bisera, moved away from the Great One Pazo, above and behind him. Just out of reach of his snapping jaws. Bisera swam nervously towards the huge shark. Even though Pazo was young, he was still large enough to swallow two of her. Magic roiled around her, heating the waters and shifting them into strange currents. The candle's dark radiance dimmed. The Vala reached for Pazo's nose with her free hand. Around her, the magic shifted and gathered around her hand. Just as she made contact, it rushed forward like an avalanche- reaching into the Great Shark's mind like the searching tentacles of an octopus. Shifting and searching for the reason for his distress. Angry memories danced around a single image. The Candle, so alluring yet so infuriating. Pazo stirred as Bisera focused on those memories, forcing her to strengthen her grip on his mind. "Vasil!" She shouted, calling for one of the Sea Folk. A rather frightened male drifted forward. "Take this to Lucius!" Bisera said as she dumped the candle into his hands. "Now!" Vasil darted away, carrying the dark artifact with him.

Suna returns to her office in the University of Elements and picks up the glass sword she'd bought.earlier. Concentrating, she lets some of her power flow into the weapon turning into into a powerful weapon capable of forming projectiles and hitting things with those projectiles up to 20 metres away (-6 motes, Create Artifact). Suna then enhanced the weapon further, making it difficult to damage the glass sword with other weapons and spells (-3 motes, Miracle). This would be her personal weapon, the Glass Sword: Nighthawk.

Nalla retracted her consciousness into herself. She was the last Goliath standing and it wouldn't serve her to leave her body defenseless again.
She noticed that the earth still coiled around the Watchman's feet, but she didn't doubt that he could break free if he chose to. If he was choosing to stay in place for the moment though, she could at least consider that some advantage. Nalla hefted her club up, and then chose to do something unexpected and hurled it forward before making a break to grab the fallen axe.

The man watches with a careful eyes before he lowers his makeshift weapon. He remains on guard despite this, not fully trusting this female intruder.
"We don't get many...visitors" He said the word like it was a curse. "...But I suppose I should welcome you. That is the mayor's job after all and it's not like I have much to do here."

Aox recoiled at the sudden emotion. He managed to take a deep breath.
"What....was that?" he mumbled to himself. Clearly this wasn't just a stick. Aox was intrigued.

"None that would accommodate you. They are all too fearful. Though I don't suggest you stay long enough to sleep. Sleep is not pleasant in Dermalk. We avoid it at any cost. But if you insist, there is a spare room here you may use."

The pale figure seemed to be mouthing the words the man spoke, obviously unfamiliar with the language.

A Durhian ducked in Spectropolis, comforted by it's strong walls. She had never known security like this. Her home town of Dermalk had weighed her with fear, but here she could feel safe and perhaps even seek help. The others had to know this kind of safety rather than the constant torment of fear.
The female durhian crept about. She had heard that there were heroes here, maybe they could help.

"That may be a foolish thing to......" The Mayor froze and suddenly lifted his broom. He hissed in fear.
"There is another presence in this house." he murmured as he crept backwards slowly.

After some search, the Durhian was led to the stadium of the Tournament were the majority of heroes were located. Many of the world's Spirits had booths that they watched from that encircled the arena. The rest of the area was filled with stands of people watching the matches. Below, the heroes had their private zones were they recuperated from the matches. Now all she had to do was to find a way to gain the attention of a hero and request for them to travel to her land.

Acacia tenses and goes into a crouch with both her arms in v-like positions, "Another presence? What's it like? And if you don't recognize them, then who? 'Cause I certainly did not bring anyone with me."

But the Mayor was oblivious to Acacia's questions. He was too engrossed in his own survival from what he precieved as a threat.

"I no kill you. Even if you whack with stick." A voice came, calm and heavily accented.
A pale person faded into view, tall and rather slender. The strange bald woman arranged her loose looking clothing. "Though, whack with stick would make great anger. Inhospitable to harm who would help. You do need this, yes? Help with the strangeness here."

The female Durhian crept towards the Heroes Private Zone. She snuck silently in the zones slinking from wall to wall, waiting, watching and searching for someone, anyone to listen to her plight.

"No sleep?....Yalas! That would be a relief. But it wouldn't be much of a solution in the long term." The Mayor mused.
