Miko smiles, "Good. I'm in Princess Magnas' Metal Magic class as well. This is just out of my own curiousity, but how much magical training have you had?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Kration! Doksa!" The doctor called.

Two centaurs, one a blond male, the other a brown-haired female, emerged from the back part of the medical stable, hurrying and doing well not to trip over their own hooves, or each others'.

"Yes, Master Harkan!" They saluted simultaneously.

"Kration." The doctor looked the succubus over analytically, "Get me a vial of potion #432-X12. Immediately. And tie that unruly hair up, before you end up bald again!"

"Yes, Master Harkan!" Kration rushed back to the backroom, pulling his mid-back-length hair into a ponytail.

"And Doksa! I want a vial of potion #21-V18+. Hurry!"

"Right away, sir!" Doksa hurried.

Dr. Harkan looked pleasantly back to the succubus. Any minute now, she would be all better.

Or a cow.

They would surely see.

"Not much aside from a few spells for when I'm tinkering. My family was never big on magic."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Brynhildr smiles back nervously, "So, what do these potions have any... odd effects? They are only supposed to heal me, right?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 Dr. Harkan smiles sheepishly, tugging at his shirt collar nervously, "W-well, um, er...we'll certainly find out."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Miko's expression change to one of worry, "A few spells? Which ones?"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Brynhildr's expression quickly shifts from a nervous smile to one of fear, "What do you mean by we'll find out?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"A few for magical assembly. A few for locating objects. A few for imbuing magic in items....just low key stuff. Why?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "W-well...you see...the thing is...well, we've been used to working on centaur bodies. The closest we've come to outside of centaur anatomy is horse anatomy, which is covered by my son, alongside every other sick and injured animal in these parts. As for other sentient beings, on the other hand...well, our magic and medicine can be a bit tricksy. Even with centaurs. So, if all goes according to plan, these potions will have you back up and normal in no time. And if it doesn't go according to plan...well, you could end up as a cow. Or a horse. Or a grasshopper. Or a wildflower."

Harkan noticed the growing terror on Brynhildr's face, and then quickly added, "Oh, but no worries! Some of my best patients have families who have become very talented at raising plants and animals in the event something goes wrong!"

Just in time, Kration and Doksa returned with Harkan's prescribed potions, along with their purported antidotes...

Miko sighs, "Ok, I'm going to need to teach you how to do a basic manastrike. Come with me, I'll give you your first lesson on magic at the archery range."

Miko walks to the door to go to the archery range.

Brynhildr gulps, "Do you have anything less... risky?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Um..." Harkan pretends to think of something less risky for a split second, before smiling quaintly, "No. No I do not. Kration, quick, the potion!"

The doctor leans over and meets him halfway, snatching potion #432-X12 from his hands, and adds, "Now close your eyes! This will only hurt...well, I'm not sure how much it will hurt! Good luck!"

And the vial is thrown down onto Brynhildr's seat with all the flair of a mad scientist. A plume of purple-blue and orange erupt into a choking cloud of pseudo-scientifical uber-mega-magical-tude...

As the vial hits her seat Brynhildr starts to scream, but it quickly turns into a ribbit. They'd turned her into a frog, and a frog with a still-broken chest at that! *Ribbit ribbit ribbit (Undo this now! I don't want to be a frog for the rest of my life)*

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Ah, so THAT'S where I put the frog potion!" Harkan clapped his hands together once, delighted, "Quick, Doksa, take Ms. Brynhildr to the back to be antidoted. When you come back with her, we can try the second potion. But don't forget to take a sample of her frog blood before you turn her back. Oh, and label that vial 'Frog'."

*Ribbit ribbit (What? Did you just say to 'label my blood as 'FROG'???')*

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Oh, silly frog-succubus!" Doksa chuckles as she picks up the frog to carry her out back, "I can't understand you! Now hold still! The more you squirm, the less pleasant the needle will be. And it's not very nice to begin with..."

Doksa trots to the back room with a jovial smirk.

The Dragonborn lashed out but was quickly restrained before the Veteran asked his question. The beings glowing green eyes flickered to his right momentarily before starring back towards the Veteran. "I swore an oath. I won't sell out the boss to scum like you" he hastily snarled back.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Sell him out?" The Veteran asked, bemused.  "I just want a talk with him. Ask him a little question. Now, strictly speaking, I don't have the authority to take you from this island. I been forbidden. I was NOT forbidden from leaving you lot tied to the ground for them colorful folk to find. Now, considering what you just done to them, I don't think they're in the mood to give you a fair trial."

He walks up to within spitting distance of the drgonborn.

"Now, I would be overjoyed to see what they decide to do with ya, but them folk ain't killers. They're beautiful, they're living art, and I don't want em tarnished with bloodstains and I certainly don't want you sent to your god because they way I figure it, that's letting you off a little too easy like. Justice ain't done."

The dragonborn can feel the full force of the gods gaze upon him, even through the faceplate.

"You boy's got one chance of leaving this place alive, and it all depends on your boss. So which. One. Is. He?"
