Drav comes to the conclusion that goliath could run faster than he could, and darts forward, raising his axe while ignoring the pain in his other arm.

The journey is about an hour long, at least on centaur-back, through some places too treacherous and removed to be reached easily by bidepal folks.

The winds race at Kaita and Fidion's backs, seeming to urge them on in a great encouraging thrust, leaves danced overhead in strange and wispy streamers.

Just as Brynhildr is about ask how much further they have left to go, Fidion turns around with a smile and announces that they have arrived.

And the establishment is marvelous.

Interwoven between great and sturdy trees are their not-as-great descendants, cut down and strewn together masterfully into homes suiting the great bodies of the centaurs. Where the Boquabians and the Elves required small cubes, and sleek rectangles, the Centaurs would have much larger versions of those shapes, sturdy from top to bottom, to make room for them on the first floor, and hold their weight on the second.

Admittedly, they had modeled them off of the stables they had seen the Elves and Boquabians using on their farms and estates, but in all honesty, that best suit them. They would take the animal housing arrangement and civilize it, even beautify it, all to the glory of the Fertile One.

Kaita waved to Fidion as he headed off in another direction.

"We'll see him a little later, Miss." Kaita assured, looking back to her passenger with compassion, "But for now, we're going to get you to a doctor."

Lo-Kag strikes at the axe, swinging his club with his good hand. The axe carves a gash into Lo-Kag's weapon and the two heroes face off with their weapons between them.

Suna watches as the dwarf works patiently waiting for him to finish.

Brynhildr smiles, "A healer? Are they going to try to heal me with their magic?"

 Kaita was confused, and then smiled pleasantly, "Magic? Um...no. None of our mages seem to care for the medical profession. The only doctors we have now are non-mages. Yep, I'm thinking you'll be here for a mighty long while until you've healed up nicely. And lucky you, too. You'll absolutely LOVE our apple and haybale smoothies. They're to die for..."

Brynhildr frowns, she'd wanted to heal quickly and be gone to avoid that thing that had thrown her into the tree, but if she had to she'd stay for a while. Brynhildr smiles, "That... sounds wonderful. What is a haybale smoothie anyway?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

Kaita chuckles, "Oh, nothing special. Just a blend of hay and apples. Though, I guess, what with you being an Outsider, you might prefer mostly apples. Maybe some grass seed--Oh, look! Here we are! Dr. Harkan's Office. Dr. Harkan!"

Out from the medical stable walked a stately centaur, vested in white, with medical instruments sticking out of a couple of his pockets.

He greeted Kaita warmly, "Ah, my dear, how are you?" He noticed the female figure on Kaita's back, and his face fell a little, "And what--er, who, is this?"

Brynhildr looks at Doctor Harkan before saying, "My name... is Brynhildr... I am a... Succubus."

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"I am well. Though you seem to have me at a disadvantage. You know me but I don't know you." Aox chooses his words carefully. He senses a powerful presence about this person.

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Magnas grins, "I am Magnas, Goddess of Metal and Lightning. I saw you fight Kagehana at the tournament."

Miko quickly interrupts while she has the chance and hands Magnas the form for Aox, "Princess. Aox-san has decided to join our school for learning. Here is the form."

Magnas takes the form and peruses it quickly, "Alright, then. Accepted. Aox, you will begin classes tomorrow morning at sunrise with the Swordsmanship class. Understood?"

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Ah...a Suck-You-Butt. Fascinating." Harkan remarked, pulling out a writing pad, "I want you to tell me everything there is to know about the culture and society you come from. Your race will be a perfect addition to my anatomy book. And by the time you and I have finished our chat, I should be able to come up with enough information to diagnose and treat your issue."

Brynhildr sucks in a slow breath to keep from feeling unneeded pain as she explains, "I am a Succubus not a Suck-You-Butt. The culture I come from is to the northwest of this area. There are three major cities, in the north: Kita, in the west: Nishi, and in the South: Minami. Each city has a council that votes on the rules that govern the inhabitants' lives and is made of one member of each race created by the goddess Mina. There are mostly stone buildings with a few sod huts interspersed among them. Anything else you wish to know?"

[Marvelous Miscreant]

"I....Yes Ma'am." Aox says with conviction before bowing slightly.

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Hm...mm-hm...mmyes...that is fascinating. Now, do you know anything anatomical about your species? Anything particularly special or extraordinary that you can...do?"

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Magnas looks at Aox, "Good. You sound like you'll do well. I think that we will have Magic Metal classes tomorrow, Miko. Let the students know, please."

Magnas walks out of the room as Miko turns to Aox, "Ok, you heard Princess Magnas. You will be having both of your classes tomorrow. Now I just need to tell the other students as well."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

Brynhildr thinks for a bit before replying, "I know that those of my race can create extremely good illusions and our wings are built so that we can fly very well. However, the gods of Mina's pantheon may have enhanced the Succubus race while I was gone and I wouldn't know of any of those alterations."

[Celadon's Penultimate]

 "Ah..." Dr. Harkan smiles to himself, "You don't eh? Then I suppose I should probably wait until I give you the latest medicine that I've kicked out in my laboratory. Apparently, I have much more to learn about your anatomy and physiology."

He gestures to Kaita, who moves alongside him, to transfer the succubus from her back to his. He then ushers her inside for further examination.

Brynhildr waits until they are inside before asking, "So, what are you going to be doing to me?"
