The colony group mind has no leader. Members of the Savant Caste do supply a great deal of the mindpower/wetware for it to work, though.

It's more likely they would just struggle to get out, since they're originally a herbivorous species.

They're mythical beings.

We could probably kill them easily. We are gods, are we not?

Until they starve to death, or get out half starved where a clean up crew is waiting for them.

let's see, barring cannibalism, I'd simply create a mind virus.  I have the domain of dreams after all.

Simply plant a disease, and allow it to spread.

There's also the theory of a giant ant eater.... Or, I could spam the guantlet of chaos and slowly pick them off easily one by one after seperating them from the hive mind by several thousand miles and destroying or devouring them.

Rocks, I guess. Collapse a bunch of tunnels.  If that won't work, salt the earth for hundreds of miles in all directions.

One of the problems with mental attacks against it is that it/they are used to them.

The Colonies warred with each other in an environment that was hostile to mentalities, to say the least.

The are used to mental attacks, and have counter-measures. They have a whole caste that does nothing but watch for changes in the group mind's thoughts. If they catch a whiff of anything, they set off an unstoppable change of events that results in the group mind resetting to before it was infected/attacked.

Then the group mind reaches out and uses it's own impressive array of mind viruses and psychic attacks to smack whatever attacked it..

I think that several tens of thousands of workers can shift any amount of fallen debris before their stored supplies run out.

They're humanoid in appearance, with minor superficial differences from normal humans. Internally they are very different, but outside...

Their creator did so because people are less likely to genocide something that looks vaguely like them than something that looks like a bug.

And they pop out to find that the area around the colony has been reduced to lifeless desert, forcing them to either leave or eat one another. The ones that make it across the desert are killed by soldiers stationed there and their heads put on display. I do this to one hive.

I then tell the others to fall in line, or face something worse.

They live in underground caves, and they are humanoid, use the attack that Philote used against me, and Í can seal the exits with a piece of the crystal.  Divinity imbued lava.

You did see the thing where Group Minds are gods, right?

Alter Terrain as a inherit action fixes the desert.

The others would probably decide to launch as many attacks as they possibly could against said army, in hopes of saving the other colony..

Since after about fifty years of inter-colony war, an outside threat forced them to work together to survive. By now, most of the colony-minds are close friends.

Wouldn't you try to save the guy you've been buddies with for over a hundred years?

Though I have to admit that is a very effective tactic against nearly any race.

What attack?

I suppose you can seal them off with your crystal.

Then they'd have to try and dig out.. or break it, which is possible if they got really desperate and just lashed out with all the strength they had.

Perhaps I should be more specific.

What tactics would you have non-divinities use?

Such as heroes or armies of your own races.

Since you'll probably be distracted with the invading gods and the races that want to kill everything.. since these guys are mostly peaceful.
