I knew my records were spot on. Either way, 3 of the heroes get to go to Round 3 automatically once Round 1 is done. Tyran since he's against a mook, Taro or Thorn since they'd be up against a mook, and Atlas or Mina the Sly since they'd end up with no opponent, thus the N/A on my records.

I think the final decision should be staved off until we know the make up of round two. No need deciding anything now. Just speculating aloud, trying to get input.

Well, Tyran has a literal pass to be in the 3rd round as for the 1st round, Jester's hero resigned and in the 2nd round you're facing a mook.

Taro faces Thorn in 1st round and the winner faces a mook for 2nd round.

Atlas faces Mina the Sly and the winner gets a pass to 3rd round as they would have faced the winner of a match between both of Jester's heroes, who alas have withdrawn.

I think that's why Vault has decided to have Taro win his match and Atlas win his match.
