That's the problem...you're trying to play this like a game. its not a game, its supposed to be a story.

It's not just one, it's both. You're treating it too much like a story.

Because that's what it is....a story. When you treat it like a game, everyone gets defensive about their stuff and the whole thing goes downhill. I would know, since that's what happened last time.

You're right, it's both. So can we play/narrate like it's both?

If you like strategy, then find a way to make things story-oriented while also making them game-like. An equal balance. That should take some strategizing, and some creativity.

I am trying to do that with my posts on what's happening in Mina's land, but if people just skim over my posts then they won't see that.

Trust me Dryad....if you treat this like a game, it will not end well. I know what I;m talking about. So far, the only real story points you've made have been arbitrary to the rest of us since they all take plce on your land and have no impact on the rest of us.

Try to realize that I;m not insulting you, I'm letting you know the flaws so that you may fix them. Take my advice or don't. But like I said, I know what I'm talking about.

Okay, if you say so.

BTW: I think Brynhildr should have acted by now (it's been, what, a couple days in-game since she arrived?) so I'll likely post about the results of her exploits soon. Hopefully today.

If you are trying to make a point, then don't make it sound insulting others you will end up having to say that last line again. And as for the game part, I will treat this how i want because it is both a game and a story, not just one. And if you don't like the Story points I'm setting up then that's your loss, not mine.

If you want to control Brynhildr then go ahead. I made her for that purpose. just keep in mind that she wants 'revenge' on mina's lands even if it was right of them to exile her.

Like I said, I'm not trying to insult you, so why are you still acting so damn defensive? I am offering you advice that I have gained from participating in lots of RPs here. You're throwing that friendly gesture in my face and telling me I am wrong.

I have experience in this stuff and I'm giving you insightful advice. Try and make your story points more relevant to other players or they won't have any impact.

Well, maybe if you'd post Aox's response it would become more relevant to others. (Hint Hint)

And I'm also setting up Sora's reason to go to your lands. He's having trouble making something for Koneko.

I said no such thing, perhaps you should not be so quick to judge. I was only meaning that everything you have contributed to the story has not been very memorable or impactful. This is not a criticism, simply an observation.

I think its cause you have way too many characters. Because of the universal rules of writing, there is a finite amount of character development to go around. The more characters you have, the more faceless and generic they all become. The fact that their names are so similar (perhaps not to you, but to others, namely me) also makes them all blend together. I can;t tell your people apart, nor can I remember what they are doing at any given moment.
