I'm honestly not sure what's wrong with me. I'm annoyed for no discernible reason, and feel absolutely no desire to do anything.

No, that's not accurate. It's more like I feel apathetic towards doing anything. Not strongly resisting doing anything, but lacking the inclination to do so myself..

Thank you. I plan to have Rubi as Taro's opponent unless I change my mind. With her as the mook, it's no longer Mook vs. Taro. It's now going to be someone affected by 10-12 race-wide Miracles versus a hero affected by 2 race-wide Miracles. This will be fun to narrate and I might have to do multiple posts due to the DSi having a letter limit.

The Miracle cast on the Giant Sharks will be interesting and definitely make them stronger.

How many inherent Miracles do you need? Couldn't you have just used one or two miracles to get them the set of attributes like I did to the Shark people?

Since they are all inherent, they don't stack as much power wise, so you could of done the same with fewer Miracles.

Well, as I recall, the rules said that 1 Miracle can give one ability, so as not all of the powers are close enough to be related and I have very specific requirements or variables that I chose for each power, I'm doing it with multiple Miracles. I want some of the powers to be exactly a certain way and add to it that not all of them go in the same set, well, you get my way of using the Inherent Miracles. Whereas, you chose a set of abilities that all have a central theme that is highly obvious for the Giant Sharks: the ocean. You could get away with the Miracle probably due to all the abilities being obviously linked, but for some of mine it takes a lityle bit of thinking to figure out the connections that I see.

Seems like you're over complicating it to me, but I guess we both have our styles. If you make them too specific, then you would lock yourself into only the things you specified.

The way I did the Miracles allows Zale to make each Shark person different while still following the same Miracle.

If the rules are too simple, then people can easily find loopholes, while if they're too complicated, then people have trouble doing anything without encountering a rule. It requires good judgement to do it in the middle and I have things set up in a way that I feel is fairly middle of the road. After all, I don't specify how good control is or power level for each ability, meaning that I can still highly customize each character. I do specify what general power level they need to get a power, but that's more of an upper-lower class thing. I'm also trying to create social/martial classes among my races and this is my way to do it.

Either way, from what you can tell right now, who do you think will make it to the final round?
