Well, the problem that I see with that is it doesn't define how good his control is or how powerful it is either. It's missing some variables as just 'Light Control.'

Well control and power would be equal between the heroes for the most part, all at heroic levels, then it would just change depending on what tier they were in.
Lo-Kag is the strongest, followed by Gilgamesh the Second, then Atlas with the other five being mostly equal at the moment.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

You consider your second oldest hero as the strongest? 'Cause Gilgamesh the Second was created first as I recall.

I consider Lo-Kag to be the first hero. Gilgamesh the second was immediately turned into Gilgamesh's first Avatar/Body, Lo-Kag was the first to actually exist as a Hero.

In the post in which you created Gilgamesh the 2nd, it says you raised a hero from the Dragonborn, not an Avatar....
...I think my next hero will be named Rinshan Kaihou and will love to play Japanese-style mahjong.

Heroes and Avatars are basically the same thing so far in my creations.
Gilgamesh immediately possessed his body as an avatar.

According to the rules, the two are different:
Avatars- Posessable and can be controlled from afar, can use free Divine Actions Heroes- Incapable of being cursed or blessed by other pantheons, can only be removed by the one who created them

I need to hurry up with my current heroes, so they can head back to the Land of the Boquabians...

But, as far as combat, how are they different?

I made my heroes both heroes and avatars, and I haven't made any avatars yet that weren't heroes, so as of right now they are the same for my creations.

For being an Avatar, you can shapeshift, fly, and create items (non-magical/psionic). All that, not including racial abilities, so it's a definite advantage. Plus, the god can use divine actions through them as well.

In order for them to be Avatars and heroes simultaneously, you should spend motes and/or Inherent Actions to do both otherwise it isn't fair for everyone else that you get to combine two Divine Actions for free. The two have different things that they get to do and an Avatar has a big advantage against a hero which is why I don't have Mikoto in this tournament.

To be honest, I forgot that Avatars could do free actions, I could just not use those.
I'm pretty sure I have inherent actions for both avatar and raise hero, so I'm covered for both.

You made all of the heroes before the rules were revamped with the Inherents, so you should at least spend the time in the posts to let everyone know that the heroes are now also Avatars because as of right now they are only heroes and not Avatar heroes. It at least lets everyone know that you did it in the story and not just out of character. Plus, if someone were to come along and read both story threads at a later time and they read of heroes using Avatar abilities, I'm sure they'd be confused if they also read the rules. Please mention it in the story thread.

I actually did make a post about it sometime during round one.

All the post stated was that Gilgamesh would make his heroes his avatars during a break in the tournament, but the interaction in which that occurs never happens in the story, so as far as a reader is concerned, it never happened because Gilgamesh never did the interaction with his heroes to turn them into heroes. In addition, Zale doesn't want us using one god's Inherent Action more than once per day from what I can tell (which is why I have multiple goddesses with Miracle as an Inherent), so you could have only made one hero into an Avatar during the break in the fighting. You still need to make the majority of Gilgamesh's heroes into Avatar heroes.

More than enough days have passed since I said I would make them avatars, if I were to only make one a day, so just consider them avatars already.
