 I'm thinking more like absence.

Sure.

It's just that skills aren't meant to be abilities in and of themselves, but rather activities at which something is skilled.

This is sort of hard to discern.

So I really don't care anymore.

Skills and powers are easily told apart.

Shooting guns is a skill. Shooting guns telekinetically is an ability. Simple as that.

You shouldn't get discouraged, Zale. We're very close, and you've done a heck of a job so far.

Couple things I'd like to make cannon if nobody objects.

God Powder - a rudimentary gun powder-like substance similar to the substance developed by ancient China for fireworks. Not called gun powder as guns do not exist and there is not yet a  process to refine the substance for weapon use. Though igniting a barrel of the stuff in someone's face is more than likely going to be lethal. It is expensive to purchase and rare. used mostly primarily for fireworks on special occasions.

Mountain Forged Steel - there are weapons and then there are weapons made from Mountain Forged Steel. MFS is made by Crav and a select few of his followers. It is superior to other metals not through any magical means, but by through the technique in which it is forged.

Also, I'm dutifully working on profiles under the rules Zale posted. I'll make a condensed post of them all when I finish to save space.

So are we finally all set on the rules? (The ones posted in the word document link on first post)

All we need now is to have people make the profiles they need right?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

No, there's still some stuff missing.

The Skills section needs to have numbers explicitly stated, points-wise.

Zaleramancer wrote
Apparently, Pantheon Leaders get ten, Lesser Gods eight, Minor Gods six and Demi-Gods four.
That's not in the document.

And this needs to be included in the document as well.

Zaleramancer wrote
Erg.

Add, I guess.

Let's see.

Pantheon Leaders would have ten to allocate, Lessers Eight, Minors.. four. Hm. I could up it so that they get six, and then have demi-gods get four..

To make it a more gradual drop.

Opinions?

I'll try to start working on mine.

Would it be possible to at least start doing some of the opening RPing for the Second Age? We could simply just not use any particular thing until we made the profile for it.

I mostly want this so that we can start quickly and so that I can use my first post to reveal which character I will be starting out with in the Second Age.

AND THE OMNI SHRUGS WITH APPROVAL.

Wait.

Tomorrow's the fifteenth.

Darn.

I'll be sort of busy for basically all of tomorrow.

Zale, which way are you using to host that document information?

If you store it on dropbox and then create a link to that storage on dropbox you could update the document without changing the link to the document, making updating the rules easier.
