Y'all are much better at playing the divine than I. I have trouble wielding power without second guessing myself. Which Is why I'm focusing on Mortals more in the second age.

Aw...but you could do it so well if you wanted to...

It isn't difficult. And really, as the deity of earth, you could actually be among the more (no pun intended) down-to-earth deities. You would just need to add a pinch of divinity in the way your character carries himself.

Just look at the Watchman and tell yourself that you only have to be slightly better at wielding it than him.

Gods don't usually get more powerful over time.

It's usually a wavering, waxing and waning- rarely permanent boosts in power.

I like ideas. Ideas are fun.

I doubt it.

In killing a god, you are doing something that was never meant to happen.

Gods are made to be immortal. They are meant to last an eternity. In killing one, you are doing something so unfathomably wrong that it traumatizes the entire world.

The gods are as unable to fix this as we are when people die.

 Ah.

So, about my other questions...

Hm. Anybody remember the mote cost for turning folks divine?

And what about creating races?

Spirits are going to have to get a lot of plot armor then or we are going to have one ruined world at some point.

Couldn't another Spirit just take on the domain?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4.

Under the new rules, anything that costs motes costs 4.

Excellent. And how many motes do we have in the coming Second Age?

Gods are rather durable, if you haven't noticed.

It takes an awful lot to kill one.

We are in the midst of planning to kill both caves and stone fortifications though

With some deities having died, this question is still valid.

That's workable. That's very, very workable.

I plan on turning one group divine (The Precious Sentries into the Eight-Virtue Virgins), and creating two groups of mythical creatures (Angels and Sirens). And when the motes are replenished, I have a plane to generate (The Fauna of Mirrors) and some servitors to generate (Spirits of Passion). Not to mention, if the Beta deities are integrated into the Second Age (which I really hope will be the case, because I want the Veelas), then I'll change Dash's name to Dasha and change her domain as well.

I don't mind a name change even right now.

'Specially since it's only a single letter.

While I appreciate that, it won't really matter unless the deity gets to stay in Uburra-Namall's pantheon. If she's just for the beta's sake, then I'll tolerate it, and move on; if she can join Uburra-Namall, then her name will have to change (it seems only fitting the Fair One would alter at least one thing about her, to suit the goddess's taste, as initiation into her pantheon). That's why I ask.

Oh, and what do you think of my ideas for creations? Any questions, comments, concerns?
