Re: Lords of Creation 12 (OOC)

Gentleman Vaultboy
Dealing with the fallout of whole incident and it's effects and how we want history to proceed. Then there's the question of how to compensate for all of Gilgameshs Domains being weakened. Deciding exactly how much of this can be put at our feet,  and how we're going to prevent this sort of situation from ever happening again.

I'll have gifts for everyone.

And Crav has the moon to rebuild as well. That should be fun.

And hopefully, this will be a good time to introduce the space god NPCs I made up. Or, produce them, maybe, as PCs...

I'll have something extra for you, being the one to rebuild the moon and all. That's the sort of thing that deserves commendation and recognition.

Agreed.

Then, we put the whole thing on ice for a bit while we decide what happens in the longer time skip.

I also have other things that will require a great deal of OCC discussion.

It's about time we took a nice look at the rules and figured stuff out.

This is something we'll talk about while planning the time skip.

I can already think of a few reason as to why they (And other Gods) would show up.

The roster's going to grow a bit, isn't it..

 Aw...you're so excitable.

It's so fun to torment you.

 Ees true, Comrade.

Still, not without good reason. And there's always creative ploys for not playing ALL of the deities simultaneously.

Probably some world building stuff and how we want our civilizations to progress. Deciding the cast ways the world changes as time passes and discoveries are made.

I'll throw up the Second Overgod Idea again, see if anyone has an objection to that.

I want everyone who has any experience with RPGs or anything similar to help me pour over rules.

Once we establish a good rule set, I want you guys to try to break it.

Subvert it in anyway you can to be more powerful. Hoard Artifacts, Make exponential gods, whatever.

Then we can see what we did wrong and fix it.

Everyone will get a say, so long as the show up.

This way, we end up with better balanced rules that work without crushing RPing.

And that.

I really want to tinker with the rules a bit while I have everyone's attention.

It's... functional, I guess right now. Barely, but it could be better and more stream-lined.

@Vault: Shame that I won't be able to participate for awhile that is not related to mortal business. I hope that we can efficiently get through everything and to the second age so that I can start interacting with the story more again.

@Wulf: I suggest not bringing in thew new Spirits till after the time skip, I believe that is when everyone will start doing that.

@Zale: Here we go with the Rules again
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

The way things are going, Marv's new character could very easily be the child of a certain two

We've been banding about the idea that for the second age everyone has the option of taking on a second Over in addition to their first.

Hm, yeah...a combination of passion and crafting to make a little god of toil and hard work. That could be maybe interesting.
