Creation is a vast desert.

A gaping, endless void that hungers and thirsts, along with the rare shining jewel of life. Far above shines the infinite heavens, home of a million million gods dead to this world.

The worlds of Creation are many. Young, Old. Similar, Different.

Myriad places all connected by a singular medium.

The Gods.

You are one of them. A small, fragment of the divine. But even you hold great power, and even greater potential.

A shining world looms before you. A shining world that you reach to grasp.

Others follow. You know them. They are like you- Small, weak. So you forged an alliance. If one falls, so do all.

Your alliance descended upon this world.. and discovered it to be claimed.

Vast and terrifying gods loom, casting their shadows upon the continents.

Forced outward by their power, you find a new place.

A small god, still greater than you, holds a place of power.

A place you and your kin may yet acquire.

You land on one of the small islets southwest of the island itself.

Tel, God of the Riptide
Tel's body is that of a heavily muscled bald human covered with the skin of a dead shark (or shark equivalent for the world he's in) from waist down only.

Tel slams the ground hard for emphasis spraying everything nearby with sand, "What is our strategy for claiming that islnd going to be? We know that it has races. Should we try to impress them and form religions or try to steal that god's?"

Po
Demi - Spirit of Fireflies

Po's body mimics the creatures whose aspect he personifies. His bald, featureless head (save for a pair of antenna) glows with a firefly's light. The rest of his humanoid body is dressed in a brown carapace. His Tool of Office, a pair of Amber gloves, cover his hands.

Po lands lightly upon the island along with his companions. Extending his gaze into the distance, he begins sweeping his vision across the distant island that was his groups last chance at refuge, searching for any sign that their presence had drawn attention.

Dozens of small birds flutter among the branches of trees to the west, while a few hawks soar over the plains to the north.

A small village of some sort stands out like a sore thumb among the grasses. Hulking looking men and women move along from building to building. Some sort of huge statue stands in the center of it.

"Calms um down, watery godsie. Forgettin so fast the most important bit?"

Mar alighted upon the earth, crinkled, monkey like face set in deep thought. Carefully, she reached up behind her pointed ear and pulled forth an acorn. "Thisun be a tricksie thing. Gotta ty yous to the world, first thing. Yes."

She stuck he staff into the ground and ground out a little hole, dumping the precious little package inside. She covered it up.

"Gots to attach yous proply, or cavesie god can beats us away with no consequence."

She beat the ground with the gnarled stick, and up sprung a little tree. It shifted a shivered in the cool air. She could immediately feel a connection forming. Something of her existed in the world, and so this small god was recognized.

It recognized a small, goblinoid monkey creature, seemingly carved from wood and clothed in greenery. It it's hand was a thin, gnarled stick. "Nows, this oldsie god is ready for talks."

"Calm down!? How could I calm down tree goddess? You might be calm," Tel rages as the nearby sea grows rough. "But the tide waits for no one! What are we going to do to make the big island ours?"

"We will do what we must," echoes a clear sharp voice.

Keth slowly approaches, his silvery eyes trained on the horizon.

"Welllllls," she says, fussing over the little tree, "the thingy I'd do first thing is screamzie and yellsie until the cavzie god findum something fishy is goin on abouts and skedaddles up from him hidey hole to caves in the first skull he findsie. Is very goods of you to get ball rollin, and so quick too, yes yes. Excellent."

"Ors, were you wantin a plan where we lives?"

Demi-God of Acrobatic Dancing

A jingling, jangling multicolor spectacle crashed from nowhere with great force, tossing up dirt into the air, and from the crater suddenly erupted a hoot of laughter that could only be the demi-goddess Dash.

"WHOO-HOO-HOO YEAH!" the blue-and-green-eyed demi-goddess' voice came, as she ran from her crater to her comrades, wild-eyed with glee, and tossed back fiery red hair, "That fall was a HOOT! So! Who's talking to who about what, huh, huh, huh? You guys got a plan yet? This island gonna be ours soon? Oh, hey look, the sky's so blue! Like the ocean! Isn't that weird? And what's with the tree?"

Po takes note of the features across the water and then diverts his gaze towards his companions. "Wise move, green one" says a quiet, harmonious voice originating from the smooth face of Po.

Placing his gloves together, Po channels his divine spirit. Bringing them apart, two dim points of lights hover in the air. Fireflies, humanoid but retaining the scale of their insectoid brethren. Po names the two Fe and Ri, the firstborn leaders of his race, his heroes. (-4 motes, Create Race, Fireflies)(Create Hero x 2)

Leaving one of the points of light, Ri, to feed on the residual divinity and multiply into what would be his foothold in this world, Po walks away from the group. "I will return momentarily, I must establish my home."

Raising his right glove before him, while the other holds second of the founding members of his race, Po creates a dim pane of light. As his hand presses into it, it fades away as Po crosses over into his newly birthed plane. Within, Po floats weightlessly through a cloud of light particles, like a herd of fireflies migrating through space. Here, Po leaves Fe, the second half of his creation, so that the Firefly race can propagate on the essence of the floating lights within the plane. Po's last action within his non-physical world is to expend the last of his diviner energy stored during the journey that led his companions to the world that they now inhabited. A collection of light particles begin compacting towards a single point, and more lights follow after, feeding into the foundation of an object from the ambient light within the plane. The Fireflies that he had brought with him into the plane would watch over its creation while they started their society. (-4 motes, Initial Miracle cast for Divine Artifact)

Returning to the material world, the pane of light behind Po collapses, closing the gateway until Po would wish for it to reopen. The first half of the Fireflies which he left on the island had stabilized after multiplying enough so that natural mating would sustain them. Po calls three to him, of which includes Ri, and passes his knowledge unto them. These three would be the first of his Order of the Passing Lights, a group trained in perceiving the world and passing through it undetected that would carry out his will. Soon, they would be sent to spy on the main land. (Create Religious Order, Order of the Passing Lights)

Finally, Po creates a small Amber Firefly within his palm and transfers a portion of his Divine Energy into it before sending it off to keep a watchful eye on the small island his companions had set down on. (Create Avatar, Currently working Autonomously with 2 points of Perception)

Tel crosses his arms and glares at the tree god, "Oh?And what plan do you have?"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

She finally looks satisfied with the little tree, now growing to a ripe and ready size. Not a tall, strong ox of a tree, but a youngish, lean one. The only tree, she notices, on this field. Easily stumbled upon. "Come's with Mar, godlies, and she'll show ya yet."

She walks away, toward the wood to the west. "And movein fast, before we's is seen."

Tel starts walking after Mar, all the while bellowing at her, not to her, but at her, "I asked a question, monkey, what in the world is your plan for us taking control of that island?"

"As you wish" Keth replies, following Mar in almost a trance like state. He did not seem to be paying much attention to what was happening.

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

As they reach the edge of the woods, Mar waves her hand to be followed in. They pass stumps, signs of lumbering, and pass them by. They don't go in far, but just far enough that you wouldn't think anything strange by stumbling upon something new.

Mar raises the staff. "Nows, there being two ways to hurts a god: you's can fights and kills him that ways, but seeinings as we's not so tough to take him on that'd make us foolsies. Other method is better. Kills the godlie by degrees."

She waves her staff and the trees begin to warp and change. Not all of them. Roughly half, leaves twisting out, acorns beginning to grow. One is noticeably bigger than the others, and with a knot at about head height in the general shape of a monkyish face. Some of the others have similar knots, each one slightly distinguished from the other. As though the forest was staring at you. (Alter terrain, -4, 8 motes remaining)

"Oak strongest wood there is. These other trees all wimpy and holey, foodstuffs for wormsies and bugises, sickly and weak. Not good for the biggun men, thems that love they homes and they axes. Let's them find the tree out in fieldsie. Lets them chop a teeny bit further, findsie these. Lets them think 'Oh, what be this wonderful wood. Wes are ever so thankful it be.'

She laughs, tittering lightly like a child. "Ands ever thanks to oak is a thanks to Mar, and one less thanks to cavsie god."

She looked around at all of the "faces" in the trees. It was nostalgic. After all, it's what she had been before. Just a knot of wood in the vague shape of a face. Imagination had done the rest."

"Patiently, we harrie cavies god. Worry him. Maks him weak, like a disease. Bys the time they's figuren out who they be veneratin, it'll bes to late to change. Cavies god will be weak, and you, rippy tidey, slicy, hacky, strongy godlies, will throws the nose round his neck. I needs you to get ready fors that day, far past tomorrow."

She leaps into the tree. "And's don't let Tel or Keth be seen by him or any of him loyalists. Not till Mars poison has run it's curse."

"Very well, let us try your plan, tree. If it fails though, I am not going to be happy. Is there anything else that you think we should do before then?"

[Gentleman Vaultboy]

"Get to buildin youselves ups, Arms youselves, build up and up, high as you can go till you reach the ceiling of your strength. Maybe's get to establishen yous power base. But be as mice. Remember you thats we don't want cavies gods attentions."

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

"Ah, creation," Tel smiles broadly and spreads out his arms in preparation for the feeling of power as he brought something into existence. "Very well then, I shall make something to start towards our group's victory over the cave god."

Concentrating on the image of a creature that he'd seen on the group's flight to the island, Tel shapes his divine power to create giant crab-like creatures whose claws were replaced with sword blades and shells were harder than any mortal's weapon. (Create Mythical Creature, Motes left: 8)

"Behold!" Tel crows to his companions. "The Armor Crustaceans! My first weapons to use against that cave god!"

Crashing abound as the crab monsters fill in space between the trees, shoving them down. One slices clean through the tree Mar is sitting in with it's blade claw.

"Nos. Nos, this be completely and totally what Mar was saying when she saids 'be as mice.'" Mar says from atop the crab. "Herdsie these monsters to the seaside and deep blue water, so's that the biggun men don't spots them. Gos through the forest, clearcuts it if you has to, Mar'll fix it along the way."

"Very well, then, I shall make my beautiful Armored Crustaceans hide in the sea for now, monkey."

Tel leads his crabs out of the forest and into the sea, destroying much land in the process before coming back to the others, "Well? What did you mean by creation if not something like my Crustaceans?"
