This is just a suggestion, since each person needs to pick their own things to create, but this is how I would divide up our current motes:
First 4 motes: Race, Religious Order, Hero for everyone. Second 4 motes: Vault: Mythos Wulf: Divine Artifact Marv: Servitor Dryad: Divine Artifact Third 4 motes: Vault could possibly alter land to give us more cover so that we can remain hidden. Dryad/Wulf/Marv, preparing for a miracle would be useful, though if you can think of something to use your motes on that would be beneficial to the group, you could do that.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

This is what I was saying about mote gain before. Religious Order are too much of a necessity.
Mote Gain --> Ability to Create Things --> Power to do stuff in RP --> Fun Religious orders have to be the first move any Spirit makes if they don't want to lose out of motes later. That was why I was saying Religious orders should not be involved in mote gain. Currently, we would be getting 2 motes every two days with a religious order. We could simply have it where we gain one mote per day and make it so that Religious order are not overly necessary. This would allow religious orders to only appear once they made sense in the plot.

I'm already seeing the problem with this Beta. We have no reason to create so much stuff like this in the actual RP, so bending the rules so that we can seems pointless to me. Besides, having lots of motes to build stuff doesn't make this RP fun, in fact it makes it tedious in my opinion. The more you make, the more we all have to remember exists and the less that stuff gets used. It just becomes clutter.
The most fun I've had in this RP was when I completely ignored the mote system (while still staying within its bounds) and just focused on playing as a character in a story. Just cause we have motes doesn't mean we have to spend them at every chance we get. Nor does it mean we must horde them or exploit loopholes for more just in case someone possibly decides to probably do something in which you will need them. Its like as soon as the new rules went up you guys got so absorbed into them that you didn't stop and think that we had barely been relying on the original rules by the end of the first age. We'd been focusing on building myth rather than playing a power hording game.

I get to make another object? Sweetness. Indeed.

I certainly agree with that.
I mean, we usually try to stay within the bounds of rules anyhow. Typically, a beta is useful for folks who don't follow rules (ie hackers and trolls and such). But we usually do. And when we don't, we have not only a GM, but a whole group of other rule-abiding folks to make sure that the honor system stands.

Well, it helps to have rules, in my opinion. And when everything is clearly defined, it's harder to argue about what something is or is not able to do. But that's just my opinion. I'm probably not going to be making things as much as I did back in the First Age anyways.

I'm not saying we don't need rules. I'm saying we don't really need to overly test them. If we know it rule bending we wouldn't do it in the first place, and if we bend rules by accident we can easily correct them.

That is a possibility, but you never know. People might not spot it, plus this could become canon to the main story. Just think of it as a side story to the main one. Like one of those little Ch X.5's you can find sometimes in manga or an OVA for an anime. Definitely not a fanfic though.

If nobody spots it than it won't have been significant enough to warrant action anyways.

Maybe, maybe not. We'll have to see. As it is, do try to interact with the Beta. Please?

Just making sure, since you didn't sound like you cared for the Beta much in your last few posts, or at least the rules testing part.

While I may not be fond of this little delay in beginning the second age, that doesn't mean I can't roleplay the way I normally do. I can keep my opinions out of a role just fine.

I wasn't questioning your roleplaying skill. That's already been proven. As it is, I'll be waiting for more people to post as I finish up this stupid homework that I've been assigned.... Actually, thinking about it... I'd be happy if everyone was on, but I'm going to have to wait either way.

Now, we play the waiting game until the big stupid Durks start getting hooked on my superior brand of wood. First this little island, then the big island, then the world.

That's if Zale means for these gods to conquer the world. Don't forget, these guys are Demi's and not Leaders or even Lessers.

Armored Crustaceans, the Warriors in Impenetrable Shells
Mythical Creatures Water Survival: Being Creatures of the sea, Armored Crustaceans can survive in the depths of the sea more easily than on land. Armored Crustaceans can breath water and oxygen, but it is more efficient for them to breath water. Sword-Claws: The Armored Crustaceans have claws formed from swords that allow them to harm other beings fairly easily Swift as the Sea: Armored Crustaceans are extremely fast in the sea, being able to overtake any mortal vessel, even if the vessel has a good head-start and a favorable headwind. Alteration Resistance (Passive) (2): Created as weapons to take down the Cave God Cothal, gods will find that it is difficult to alter the properties and abilities of Armored Crustaceans, requiring a Power greater than Tel's (3+) to alter the Armored Crustaceans. Armored Carapace (Passive) (2): Armored Crustaceans are virtually impossible to harm with mortal weapons and possibly with Divine weapons. The only area that an Armored Crustacean can be harmed without having to worry about its hard carapace is its belly. The 'impenetrable' part refers to mortals' weapons BTW. I really love adding titles to things.... I hope everyone's figured out what Tel is like, at least in my portrayal of him. If I need to alter the Armored Crustaceans' first skill do tell me please, Zale. Also, would like an opinion on Jhella from a page or two back.

Here's what I'm thinking for Keth personality. Like the Khopesh that he has dominion over, Keth tends to be distant and quiet when "unused". It is almost as if he is lost in thought. However, when he is needed he will snap back to attention and defend himself or others with clarity. Keth prefers to be lead or used by others and to act as the blade that defends them rather than pushing out on his own.
I'm telling you this so that you might better utilize his skills as your characters would be aware of his tendencies.
