"Much better." Star says, shoving the thing back into his belt. After learning from the blacksmith that his companions had left mere moments before, Star thanks the man for his time and takes his leave. After a quick search, he finds them experimenting with the needle.
"Hello everyone. I hope your day has been as productive as mine." he says cheerfully.

"Ah, greetings Star. I'm glad you've stopped by, I've made some interesting discoveries" Willow says holding up the enchanted coin for Star to see. "This needle even works similarly to the altar at the blacksmith's, which you've seem to have found. The quality of our gear will improve substantially if we use this properly, but I think for now we're ready to continue our adventure if you are."

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |
"Yes, we should move on. I don't think a town where you have to ask for sidequests is in need of very much dashing heroism."

"Hmm, wait a moment" Willow says. He extracts the golden theme from the coin again and tosses the husk away. "Use this on your sword, your good one. It should create a fitting match for someone of your demeanor. When you're done, we can go gather everyone up and leave."
(Marv, you can set us all up for the action of leaving town since I don't think we have more to add)

Star does so gladly and without hesitation.

Willow gives Star a pat and then tries to respectfully pry him off him. "Let's travel shall we. You can repay me the next time we get loot."

The group gathers back up and begin their journey out of town and back into the depth of the Eternity Dungeon. Beyond the town, three passages loom. Each diverges from the Town in a different direction.
The Right most passage is cool and dark, moss grows from its edges. The Middle passage whistles with a gentle breeze that smells of water. The Left passage is rocky and a fine sand is scattered around it.

Star points down the leftmost passage. "We haven't seen sand yet."

"Absolutely!" Star says, whipping out his ten foot pole and poking around in front of him as he advances.

Willow follows a couple paces back, but directly on the same path that Star takes while he sweeps his vision around for anything dangerous.

A few rudimentary foot traps are avoided with the help of Star's pole. As the group travels down the passage, more and more sand become evident, gradating from a loose scattering to a thick carpet that obscured the floor. Slowly the passage began to widen, finally opening up into a large arena of sand, that pitched ever so slightly into an indent in the center. Half buried in the center, under a mound of sand is an old chest. across the arena are two more passages.

"This is a trap. I'll bet anything that there's going to be some monster living in the sand down there. Willow, you're not carrying much, tie this rope around yourself." Star says, reaching into his pack and pulling out his grappling hook. "While you go down to get the chest, the rest of us will stand far back from the hole and hold the other end. When you yell, we'll pull you up."

"Let's try to apply a little more wisdom to our actions friend" Willow instructs. "Why don't you use your pole to prod the chest first or attempt to push it open before we get too close?"

As Willow is lowered down he notices that the pit is a little deeper than it appeared from the edge of the room. The sand rushes down the incline as his feet disturb it, running in streams to the center where it collects alongside the chest. After a few moments, Willow, steps easily onto the bottom of the pit and stands before the chest.
The chest is huge, easily as wide as he was tall. It had seemed smaller from the top.
