You can always pilfer this for weapon types.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

It was an Ms paint quirk, but I find the fat little stars charming in their own way.

Thanks. I think I'll go with the darker version, I think it might go better with the gear I'll get later.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Couple of potential sets you'll be able to find. Please note that colors can be changed wither by other items, or as part of an enchanted piece. I'm still working on more and hope to show you them soon. All the diiferent items can be worn at the same time, I've separated them so they can be seen more easily.

Hmm, I may have to make the images bigger so the details are easier to see.

Might I suggest a sort of crafting system be implemented?

You could have 90% of the loot be as the Items you've already described and then have another 10% be crafting items that can be obtained from doing well within the RP. An example would be something like a dragon's fang. The dragon fang could then be used at our choice on something else, like a helm to make a dragon's helm or a staff to make some other combination. We could choose what to fuse together, but you would choose how the fusion plays out, so we could not tell you to redraw it or something.

Excellent Idea! Love it. Crafting system approved. Plus it gives us a way to swap items nobody wants (but got on random draw) with potentially better ones.

You could also do a silhouette sort of thing where we see the outlines of certain loots but not their detail and we become stuck with the one we pick.

I might use that for some creature's drops (like Gelatinous Cubes or Grab Bags). It could let you guys get a type of item you need, but get basically a random draw on its style and powers.

Yeah, I'm just saying that you have a large variety of ways to give us items and ways to determine what to draw so that our characters become really varied.

I really do appreciate these ideas. They're really helping me refine this thing. I'm so excited about this. Probably more than any other RP Idea I've ever had...

Anyways, I'll keep working on ways to let you guys get varied and unique loot in different ways so that this doesn't become a monotonous monster grind for specific items.

I think the best part about this would be our characters changing in a way not directly controlled by ourselves but from the effects of your drawings.

Marv: If you want to do this and have it grow into an actual story/world in an interesting way then you should throw us into as quickly as possible without telling us much other than to go get loot. Then you can introduce rules into the world that we can slowly pick up on and react to as we go through the RP. For example, we pick up a red gem and it eats away our glove, but we learn that we can use red gems in the future to melt opponent's gear, or we learn that all frost magic requires magic dust to use. Just stuff like that that makes us learn of this world as if it were a real place with its own set of rules and physics that we can explore. In other words, I say that we just go ahead and jump into this. It seems like an RP that could be easily jumped in and out of so starting it this quick should not be a problem. Might want to wrap up KCoM quickly though if you do though.

As per Phi's suggestion I'd like to launch soon after I finish KCoM which should be fairly soon. This could be run in the background to other RPs and can stop and start as we need it as its a very low maintenance RP at least for you the players.

If there are any objections, speak up.

I haven't thought up a character for Star Platinum's (I'm keeping that name, by the way) pilot. I'm tempted to make him either some minor noble going through a midlife crisis, or that man's child. Maybe both.
