Humans claim to be the most intelligent of the sentient races, citing as evidence their invention of the game of chess.
Djinni counter by citing that it was the Djinni who introduced mathematics to the ancestors of the human race.

Ooli would counter, if not for being clearly above such petty arguments
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Ogres are very tall humanoids with grey, rough skin like that of a shark.

With no sun and the erratic moons, time is instead measured in how long it takes the Factory to produce world. Since Bonfires are always placed an equal length apart, the appearance of the newest batch of Bonfires outside the Factory walls indicates the end of the current Factory Cycle.
The current cycle is Cycle 72. (Where would the magnetic polls be on a world that's flat? I'm dumb and have forgotten middle school science.)

(Poles are created by the spinning metal stuff in the core or near it, which create the magnetic field. Factory would need something similar or it might not even have a magnetic field. Actually.....)
The Factory has no magnetic field

(Well, in that case....)
When people talk about the poles, they mean the especially large and tall lanterns around which the forests grow and the zombies "live."

( Magic Handwavium would have worked just as well. Better, in fact, because now, since you smarty-pants bring it up, we have the problem of gravity. How does that work on a world such as this?)

Gravity just works the way it does on Earth because Factory. Gravitational anomalies are some of the most common caused by Morlock tampering.

In the event of gravitational anomalies, It is advised to retreat to safety, then alert nearby authorities.

Morlocks are an enigma. Many believe them to be unintelligent troglodytes, though, despite their incapacity for intelligible language, they are constantly at work, experimenting with parts salvaged from the Factory and elsewhere.

Someone will have to enter the depths to repair the problem. Maintenance hatches into the depths are shattered across the surface of the planet, allowing access. Despite the heavy defense each Hatch has to keep the Morlocks contained, past the defensive line one is essential left to face the creatures with any help they bring with them.
Such intrusions are extremely dangerous, but necessary and often rewarding. The thought of strange, cobbled together Morlock artifacts have tempted more than one group of adventurer into the bowls of the planet.

Sometimes a ship will collide with a planet. The ship will become a miniature factory, causing widespread anomalies in the surrounding area. It must be entered and destroyed so that these anomalies cease.

Some say that destroying these minature factories is hastening the production of the world, while others say the opposite.

(I didn't realize those were actual things.)
The Merrow and Tritons are a monarchy, led by their Queen (called The Medusa) and her High Consort. The two are symbolically married, to represent the unity of the two races, but are otherwise expected only to rule justly and honorably together. Anything further between them is left to their discretion.

While goblins and dwarves are sometimes confused due to their similar size and reptilian nature, there remain certain phisological differences. Goblins have larger and more mobile ears than dwarves, and lack hair. Dwarves are generally less scaly and more mammalian, while goblins lack almost all mammalian features.
