We don't have to, no, but it is doable with people who actually want to. And, in all honesty, even if nobody wants to do it, I would have liked a bit of a heads-up like this, BEFORE I got all invested into it back then.

Though, like I said before, if nobody wants to do it, then we can take a consensus. If majority rules, this can be taken off the Queue easily, and I will have no qualms about it.

It'll take me thirty seconds to unleash an army of trolls from every section of the internet onto this place.  please treat me with the same tact you use toward marve when he thinly says your idea sucks. I'd use more tact myself but I just spent the last five hours emptying out everything I've eaten over the past year.

As for people not participating, maybe instead of complaining that no one is participating, figure out why they aren't participating, or better yet, find a way to bring more people to the forum. There are literally hundreds, maybe thousands of active comics and forums whose members would love to come here, and all it would take is a single post to one of their message boards, but no one has tried to do that. I'd do it myself, but I'm pretty much hated here.

First off, you don't scare me with your threats of sending trolls here. You may not care about this forum anymore, but I do, so if you send them here, they will be banned, and so will you. That's not a threat; it's a fact. And I will have no hard feelings toward you before or after I do it, if it comes to that.

Second, I have treated you with nothing BUT tact since you've arrived. I haven't once cursed you out, insulted you, or made you out to be a bad guy. I point out things about YOU, and I point out things about OTHER PEOPLE. This is not some hateful attack against you, or some attempt to make you out to be a bad guy. It's YOU who's been using profanity against me, talking down to me like what I'm saying to you is made up.

Like I said before, you're not participating here. You are rarely on, and whenever you are on, you're constantly bickering with people about your refusal to follow rules. When you follow rules, then everything is great. But when you try to think up these evil-genius convoluted plans to circumvent what people have established as rules, then you cook up trouble for yourself.

And before you decide to go there further, keep in mind, I did not label you as a problem for why RPs move so slow. I said that you and others have stopped posting, which you all have. Numerous people have left, and you've very nearly left from posting on here, too. Not to mention, others are getting really busy with their own lives too, despite not leaving the forum entirely. That's why things are going slower than they have been in the past. That's not some angry insult, that's not me blaming you, that is me stating facts.

And with saying you're hated here, you can cut the crap. Really. You are not hated here. We have done nothing but try to include you in different RPs, discussions and other activities we have on the forum. You are never here. And nobody knows how to contact you unless you're here. So, when you come back and talk crap about how everything here is terrible, and people here are dead set against you, forgive me if I feel a tad bit like you're helping contribute to the problem.

I apologize if there is anything I've done to make you feel unwelcome--even so far as to say 'hated'--but I doubt anybody here hates you. I've never seen anyone voice as much. So, I honestly have no idea where you got that from. Since you've come, we've all considered you a forum member, despite what disagreements we've had with you about rules and general discussions. Nobody here SHOULD have any hard feelings against you, I don't think. Especially seeing as how Marv was the only real one who ever got into arguments with you, and even HE never said that he considered you any kind of enemy.

Anyway, the whole point of me even talking to anybody here, if you know anything about me, is never to exclude anyone or shut them out, but to invite as many reasonable, likeable, creative and dedicated people as possible. If you want to be included here, then by all means, you are more than welcome; help yourself to any conversation or activity that takes place here.

And just so you know, I have tried to invite people to this forum. Don't assume that I've just been sitting here idly complaining, like some weak helpless child. It's insulting. I just need help, is all. And I'd appreciate if you'd help, since you guys are involved in more forums than me.

Well, I do appreciate the offer. Really, I'm sorry you feel the way you do about the forum, but bear in mind, I really don't think anyone here has bad blood with you. You're not hated, we just don't always see eye to eye. You're always welcome back whenever you feel like it.

2 I don't go outside the rules, never had, for some reason every thinks  i do, I just like finding loopholes.

3 I like playing the good guy, but no one ever wants to play the maniacal evil genius and because of that action stagnates until eventually I'm forced to do something.

4. from what I've seen you've just been complaining, I had not seen any new participants that stay for more than three days so I assumed that no on ewa sdoing anything and that those were just internet drifters. If you have been taking steps I apologize.

5. Yeah I pretty much am, I could make any comment, anywhere, and immediately it turns into a fight, even if I try to be cordial and its always with the same people.

6. He has but it was a long, long time ago and is better left forgotten

How easy would you say it is for a new person to pop into an RP like LOC whenever they want?

The rules are there for a reason. Rather than finding loopholes and exploiting them, it would be more appreciated if you pointed them out, so they could be corrected.

Again, rather than playing the bad guy, bring up the absence of a bad guy. You aren't forced to do anything. You decide on your own to take matters into your own hands.

It's fairly easy to join, so long as you join at a point in the story where it would be believable. Like, at the start of the Second Age (which is coming up).

I like playing that way. All there is too it, when I DM I'm the exact opposite actually, Air tight contracts.

I do actually, Zale and I discussed how the monsterking thing would play out for about three to four pages of text before anything went down, unfortunately I had work to do so I couldn't participate as I had liked. AS for taking things into my own hands, that's the way I was raised.

Doesn't have to be fandoms, just type in a random gaming forum and you get a few thousand results, find a relativley good one within the first 5 and make one post. bada bing bada boom, the problem is making them stay.

There's a correlation between number of arguements per week and number of times I post per week I think it's 1.5 ^ x +2

haven't forgotten, wasn't a misunderstanding, but a man gets tired of animosity after a time of piece. It would be similiar to if Germany treated us like the french treat us after world war 2.

Marv. yeah, it happened a few years back a bit after you joined the forum, you made an assumption of me and we've been at odds ever sense. I have a long memory, not perfect, but still pretty long.

I do to, and that's not how I remember it. After I joined the forum, we were good friends. For almost no reason at all we had an argument about a year after I joined. Chalk it up to a bad series of events. ever since you've assumed I've had it out for you (despite my constant assurances to the contrary) and this has lead to some rather serious arguments. If it were up to me, we wouldn't argue at all.

I think I have a hyper developed immune system or something. Things hit me a lot worse, but they only take half the time to go away, it's interesting going through an entire flue cycle in five hours. So I'm  already better

that's my point. From my observations the internet has the attention span of a Recus monkey on crack. If you want people to stay and do something, you have to give them something to do. We use to be able to do that with the new Rp's but I'm not going to leave my self open for attack by bringing that up again.
