I can't believe I did not think of this before!

What do you guys think of an Internet Meme/Trope RP?

The rules and setting have yet to be established, but it's gonna be comedy, obviously.

Characters and objectives for the roleplay are entirely in the works, but I'd REALLY like to know your feelings about it. And if you get any ideas that I leave out? All the better.

Okay, so technically, I'm kinda torn.

Should it be a set RP plot, like I plan to do with the Card Game RP?

Or should we have a general idea of what we want to do, but otherwise be random, like the Prison realms RP?

Or...should it be entirely random, like New Beginning?

I dunno, maybe just have very little structure.

Yeah, I'm guessing the second one would be best.

Now, powers MUST be based on memes, naturally.

BUT, nothing like "insta-pwn", or "SHOOP DA WHOOP" or "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US".

You will be going up against a creature with each of these and other frightening capabilities (except "insta-pwn"); their armies will be crazy frogs, ninja cats, lolcats, and all manner of other unpleasant (and hilarious) foes.

So be on your guard. Choose your powers wisely. Know your strengths and weaknesses...

And be prepared to be funny.

Otherwise, you may not make it against whatever villains I can throw at you.

Exactly, there'll be trolls on the side of the bad guys as well (who has yet to be named).

Yeah, anything short of things like the above examples (All your base are belong to us, Pwnt, Shoop da Whoop, etc.) are allowed. Nothing that's OP, basically.

Oh, yeah, and just so you know...I'm open to NPC suggestions.

One of them is already decided to be Mary Sue, but I'll need others.

How would that work as a power? and would all reaction faces be classified as same meme?

You cannot use any memes that can be potentially construed as overly powerful.

Each meme gives a power defined by its owner. Those belonging to NPCs are defined by me.

e.g. The Trolls have the power of Trolling; this power is native to their entire race, and it allows them to do one random, unpleasant thing. It varies for each troll. Some can cause things to burst into flame. Others can pass superhumanly-noxious gas. Still others can cause minor misfortune. But each one has a negative ability. None can heal, rapidly regenerate, breathe underwater, cause good luck, etc.
