What are the rules here? Does one of them just get dumped in my lap and tell me the others are after me, or does Vader come with the Death Star? Are they all coming individually, or do they work together? There are to many variables to come to a conclusion.
Also, the last movie I watched was Tokyo Godfathers, so I'll either be a hobo or get found in the garbage by some hobo's, but then everything will turn out all right in the end. So I'm not fucked at all. In fact, you could almost say it's a miracle.

I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm going to be the only one to survive with Batman on my side As for the movie, If I remember correctly the last one I saw was the Hobbit. Could be worse I suppose.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |
See, I was going to pick Batman, but then I realized it'd be more advantageous if he was one of the people after me. Batman doesn't kill.

Do you really want Batman foiling all your plans while the other seven do try to kill you?

Good point.
Also, might not be alone in this. Maybe all the dudes that are trying to kill me have all been assigned to protects some other person from the one I pick.

Either way I'm going with the guy known for being able to plan and execute a strategy to take down anyone with any amount of prep or foreknowledge.
If I remember correctly, in one comic he defeated the Martian Manhunter during their first encounter because he already knew all of the Martian Manhunter's possible weaknesses without even having met or known of the alien.

I think I'd have to go with Vader. Not my favorite character, but the force gives him an enormous edge on others. For instance, he could sense a predator despite invisibility, deflect the shots from most of the others, telekinetically restrain all melee-based foes (such as Wolverine), manipulate the minds of all except the mechanical and act at a significant distance, rather than needing to be within range of a gunfight or relying on melee.
As for the movie, I cannot really remember which movie I saw last. The last I actually remember watching is Chronicle, but I doubt it is the most recent. In that case, my foreknowledge of superpowers should give me an edge on any others with telekinesis.

I'd choose Vader because of the simple reason you'd be safe against most of the others when you're not on earth. And he's a father figure. Kinda.
In that regard, the predator seems a less likely choice because of what reason they would want to keep you alive? Promising prey? Meat source?

The one thing we know is that the person you chose will protect you from the others. It's all the other stuff I'm confused about, such as if Vader would have a Star Destroyer or not.

Alright, So I've been trying to think of any fictional character that could stand against Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann that would not be us resorting to our NB characters. Currently, I only have one candidate, but feel free to throw in your own contenders.
The Match: Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann vs. The Brothers (Combined) from Marvel/DC

Actually, goku could totally defeat STTGL.
As I understood it STTGL is controlled by a team of humans. Goku can sense where they are, then use his Instant Transmission skill to teleport at their location. No matter the distance, that skill will bring you in close distance to the person you had in mind. Almost instantly. Once he defeats the members of that team (or teleports them away) then STTGL is also defeated.

I noticed some points being made for Goku/Vegito/Gogeta vs STTGL in a different location and these were some of the replies against them being able to defeat STTGL.
1. The whole mech is made out of Spiral Energy which is comparable to Ki. I'm doubtful they would be able to pin point the pilots when the entire construct is made out of the signal he is looking for. 2. With STTGL's size, would it even be possible for Goku to sense a specific Ki at that range if the Spiral Energy did not interfere. Unless all the cockpits were in one location, the distance between the head and the torso is an insane amount of distance. 3. If they were to get to the pilots of STTGL it is not necessarily true that they would be defenseless since they are creating and powering STTGL with their souls. At the end, Simon says "The drill is my soul!"

The character will only have their default gear. So a shotgun for the Terminator, Batman's utility belt and maybe some vehicles, Wolverine his powers and adamantium skeleton, Hellboy and Dredd and Sin City guy and Robocop a gun, Vader a lightsaber and the Force.
I'd probably pick Wolverine. He'll last the longest (fast, resilient/tenacious & ferocious, regeneration, indestructible skeleton), wipe the floor with the droids/robots/cyborg/mechanical beings, also with Dredd and Sin City guy. He might have trouble with the Predator, Batman, Hellboy and Vader. But he will overcome Batman, injure/kill Hellboy - can (easily) be done (see the second movie). Not familiar with Predators, but they and Wolverine both hunt. Wolverine can smell them, regenerates from energy weapons, and kill them with claws. And with guerilla warfare on Vader (hit & run), he will dodge the TK. He'll regenerates from Force Lightning, if it hits him. I think you'd survive, but you'd be in eternal teleportation/Limbo. Until someone sets you free. I'd go for GL's ring or Thor's hammer. Why? It says choose your weapon, so I think you are able to wield/use it (maybe not good/proficiently, but still) Adamantium skeleton: Heavy and you'd still be hurt. It gives no regeneration or claws. Cap's shield: Can you accurately throw it? Might be confiscated or stolen. Batman's belt: some of his gadgets, not all. No suit etc. Iron Man's armor: Would be so cool, but will be damaged (can you repair it? will be expensive), where's your power source/how do you recharge/normal fuel will be expensive, can be confiscated (Iron Man 2). Spiderman's web shooters: No high buildings near me, don't have the agility/reflexes and spatial awareness to properly websling. Can be damaged and stolen. Thor's Hammer: Well, I'm worthy if I get/use/wield it, so all of the Thunder God's powers. Gl's ring: everything I can think of. |
It's be the same as being smashed up against a mirror. You'd be crushed into a paste by yourself.
As for the weapons, an adamantium skeleton would straight up kill anyone without regenerative powers. The level that Wolverine is at is only about half of his powers full strength, with the other half being devoted to keeping him alive. I wouldn't be able to lift Thor's hammer, and I don't have enough willpower for a GL ring. Tonys suit needs regular maintenance and I don't have the resources for that, and I'll pass on the webshooters because I'm afraid of heights. My answer is the same as before, then: I would love to hang that shield on my wall, and if I really have to fight anyone then it can keep me alive for a few extra seconds.

@Vault: Oppinions? @WHD: Green Lantern ring would be first choice, Iron Man armor would be second choice if it was the Bloody Edge model (At which point the suit would practically be my body).

The Brothers
One brother represents the Marvel universe and the other represents the DC universe. Combined they represent and contain everything that has ever been shown by either company.
