Interesting superpower questions

I was concerned about that too, so I made Selective Temptation Immunity. I feared the consequences if NB actually happened and one of us went mad with power.

Maybe not immediately a superpower related question. But I'll ask anyway.

But which is for you harder to believe ?

A) the universe has an infinite size.  Therefore there is no end to space, only an end to the visible/known space.
B) the universe isn't infinite. At some point (many many lightmillennia away) it ends.

It is said by greater minds than me (not that hard to be in general, but also not easy for peers) that space is infinite. Think Einstein laid the groundwork for this belief.

I also belief this. So option B is harder for me to believe.
Unless they find proof, but they probably won't during my life.

Hey, I found a way around Omni-Powers.

Give yourself an Achille's heel.

If an Omni-whatever being limits itself in someway, it ceases to have true Omni-power.

An Omnipresent being that creates a place it can not be is not truly omnipresent.

It's still able to be everywhere and everywhen except that particular spot in space time, no matter how small.

Here is one that is actually superpower-relevant. I am putting together my team as I speak. The question is, of course, is whether putting our NB selves in our squad as us is fair game, even if we play fair on the zombie hordes.

I will try to find to find the original source of that hyper-enlarged image for you guys.

If it's the type of slow walking dead humans then
you'd want at least one gun that has a silencer.  
Because the sound of gun shots would attract more zombies.

So that leaves A, B or E

And you'd also don't want to run out of bullets to soon.

E has 2 semi automatics. (i think they are anyway, I'm not a gun expert)
Considering that the better choice would be E.

A is cool though.

B has the sniper, which is cool if you have time to aim and reload.
But from a survival point of view it's not the best choice.

The order in which I want the abilities (top one is most wanted) + my thoughts
10: Be wise and use one as a back up, like when you're aware of having the power so you can repeat life in a endless loop.
Sucks if you die before reaching your room. Unless you leave a will stating that you must at all times be returned to your room after death (does that count)?
4: Old age or you suck at something? Screw that, I'll whoop those youngsters' asses
6: Get rich (if you don't get caugt due to ATM cameras), access anything.
9: Most useful if you're blind or learn to live as a blind person. Still useful in most life threatening situations (unless they involve momentum and falling)
7: You'll never be happy with yourself, no matter how you look. You only raise the standards for your idols/ideals etc. Instead of admiring the hunk/babe of the class, you'll admire celebs. If you're a celeb, you'll admire magazine girls. You'll still be thinking you're ugly/unworthy ... probably the reason you took this ability.
Or you max out everything ... Super Soldier serum-style.
3: Make money as a stuntman, I suppose. Or wind up dissected on a slab. No sportscareer, since United States Anti-Doping Agency or some other agency thinks you're "cheating" and will ban you.
1: Would be sweet, know what you're supposed to do (which college/career), what you got, who your friends are etc.
8: How do you explain resurrection (even to religious people)?
People might think you regenerate and try out (you're dead again).
Might be altruistic and give it away, but that doesn't explain why life threaning illness went away.
To combat old age? You live again to die a few days later.
You have to like your life or want to try again/life longer (how do you explain a 150+ age?
Plus side is a potential large family, see the future your original peers cant experience etc.
5: Bag will get confiscated or stolen. Would be different/higher on my list if it were a pocket dimension or something

I'm having trouble assembling my team as well, but here is one possibility. I decided to give myself a challenge; keep the numbers of males and females the same:
1) "Steve?", Minecraft -we leave hm to his own devices and he makes a zombie-proof fortress. Not to mention enchantments and potions later on. Even without commands/creative mode, his ability to respawn at the last place he slept essentially makes him essentially zombie-proof.
2) My NB self (as an upgrade to my current self, not another person). I would only use this in a life or death scenario though; it is essentially a cheat code. Would also let me keep violent choices in line. Feel free to use you own NB characters in your team as an upgrade to yourselves.
3) Katara, Avatar: The Last Airbender -can heal the team, use water as a weapon, steer boats and more.
4) Andrew Detmer, Chronicle -he may be violent, but the zombies cannot get near us. He could also allow us to fly to safety. Could also move heavy objects, such as trucks in front of doors.
5) Emma Frost, X-Men -Emma's telepathy could be used to find other survivors, communicate on the battlefield and much more. In addition, her diamond form could be used to fight zombies.
6) Claire Bennett, Heroes -her healing blood would likely cure infection and she would be immortal, able to supervise humanity after it began to recover. In addition, should she have children, they may have powers as well, although likely not regeneration.

Like my team? The first 4 were easy, but the last 2 took a while to decide upon, especially in the case of Claire.

Alternate TV: River from Firefly, at the end of Serenity she kicked ass and was not bat-shit crazy.

Movies: Fantastic Four (can I get all 4 or just one?) or Hermione Granger - powers/magic
Alternate Movies: Probably someone from Marvel Movie Universe

Video Games: Lara Croft - hot, guns, survivalist etc.
Alternate Video Game: James Heller from Prototype 2. Lots of experience in military and zombie world

Cartoons: Goku, Gohan or Kid Trunks that grows up to be Future Trunks - Super Saiyans.
Alternate Cartoons: Avatar from the Last Airbender or someone from 90's Marvel Animated series

Any fiction: My NB persona - duh!

Yeah, mostly girls, since in a zombie world we need to procreate.

And for any fiction, I'd choose a strong female comic book character, like Invisible Woman, Super-Girl/Power Girl, Ms. Marvel or something.

I figured that since you pick 6 persons to forma team, you are already in the team.
And since everyone has skills/powers, you also get powers. So your NB persona is already in that team.
Since I have powers to create characters and/or get them from the medium they're in ... doesn't really matter which charcters I choose.

Though already having/picking my NB persona on the team might be cheating for me, as I'm the #1 MPU.
