And Lords of Creation and The Prison Rp aren't quite the traditional fantasy style roleplay.

Think Swords and Spells and Castles and Elves and Dwarves and Goblins.

This thread is basically for brainstorming and such.

COme Now Zaler Mancer, the Necromancer of the list forums, You know as well as I do that magic would be jsut as safe in my hands as any one else. When the story requires it, I know how to play within the limits given.

That's the problem, you exploit the limits to make yourself ungodly powerful.

Fare enough, it's an interesting class and in addition to a tank it could also become offensive in a pinch as well as substituting for a team cleric, nice call.

As for classes.. I think we may have them, just to define what you can and can't do.

A wizard couldn't kick butt with a sword like a fighter, For example.

I'm guessing class is.. class and job is the role you fill.

Assuming we start at Level 1, I'd probably start with a cauldron shield.

Actrually there are several subclasses of wizard which might be able to that would fall under the multiclassing affect.

The Journey man Wizard for example: A wizard in the middle of their training, not capable of the higher class spells of the master wizards and only capable of mid class spells. In exchange, they have leared to protect themselves with melee weaponry, although only of the amatuer level.

Basically a traveling Vagabond that has learned the ways of magic and weaponry.

You realize that since this is "Totally original" we could work together to make our own sets of classes and subclasses.

A fighter can still swing a sword better than a wizard. Assuming they are trained to use it.
