Yes, but the hypnotist/mentalist is trying to make the third party do something, and the something produces a kind of force.

Is the force invisible?

Yes, it's Mimesis! The other possibility is Master Mime.      

"The mentalist went on to show his talent as a hypnotist. He first began by asking volunteers to come on the stage and tried to hypnotize them as well as the audience in order to select the most suggestible ones. Once the selection phase was completed, the superpowered guy, among other people, ended up on the stage in a trance. There, the mentalist made every one of them do silly things, like imagining themselves as goalkeepers for a soccer game. When he told them a player from the opposing team was coming and then shot, everyone on the stage jumped to either side at the same time in order to catch an imaginary ball. And when he told them they had to shoot the ball as hard as they can, everyone mimed placing the ball on the ground, backing away and suddenly running foward to shoot it. However, miming the action to shoot the ball triggered the guy's superpower, bringing the ball to life which hit a first woman, ricocheted and hit a second one."
