"Right. Right." He shuffled in place for a moment, "I was hoping that, if you could help me with a wolf problem I've been having. They've been gettin' at my sheep latey-"
"An' mah pegs!" His friend called out from the table. "I'm not sure why. Normally we don't have any troubles with the critters. Maybe they've got somethin' wrong with 'em. I wouldn't normally ask, but could you know.. kill a few of 'em. I hope that'll scare the rest off. Don't want 'em to get at the little ones or-" "Yeah! One of 'em got at mah leg!" Called out the other one, hiking up his pant-leg to show a carved wooden leg with canine bite marks. "-Anyone else."

"Absolutely!" Logan shouted with conviction. He may have been clumsy and awkward socially, but combat was something he knew. He stroked the cloth bundle that hid Wayward Soul.
"I can help." he reiterated.

"Don't get prepped just yet, I've already called this job" Pion exclaims to Logan before turning back to the locals "Now can you point me in the direction of your problem? We can discuss my price when the job is done."

"Wait....what? Did he just.....um?" Logan wondered out loud to nobody in particular before slumping back into his chair.

Scourge stared silently at the table for seven seconds before looking up at the man"....Any reason why the wolves might be suddenly attacking? Had they been acting strange lately?"
"Who cares? As long as I get to kill something it doesn't matter at this point." "Shush." Scourge thought, "If there is a deeper reason behind this it is always good to go in prepared, it's the first thing dad taught us." "That lunatic? Didn't he also teach us that if we needed food we could always pretend to be dead to lure a wild animal towards us?" "Still." |

"Well, now, don't get your cauldron in a bubble, Mr. Flaskbone." Phasma chuckles, "I don't see any reason why we can't all be of some use in this matter. Perhaps I'll get some insight from the spirits along the way."
Casper looked up at his master; just about bloody time they got to do something other than spirit consulting! "Looks like a bit of me is rubbing off on you after all, Phasma." She looks down with an adventurous grin, "I taught you how to speak. Consider it even."

The old, stout man turns towards the strange looking fellow with a sword.
"I'm not sure what could have gotten them like this. Some of the forest critters have been acting strange lately. Could be anything." d"Now, if y'all want to do this, I'll get someone to show you tha way." He turns and treads towards the bar, slamming his hand onto it. "Rowan? You there?" The top of a cloaked head drifts upwards from behind the bar, follows by a shadowed face- the only thing visible are a pair of electric blue eyes that seem to glow slightly. The old man cracks his fingers and began to speak in some strange tongue- it sounds a lot like wind rushing through leaves. Around the bar came, this Rowan, cloaked wrapped tightly around a thin body. "He'll take you to where my sheep were, if you're ready to go."

"I'm not doing anything else. Let's go. " Logan announced loudly as he hefted the bundled sword onto his back with a single movement.

This thin cloaked Rowan drifted towards the door, beckoning.
"I'll just stay here. Me and Gem need to finish our game." The old man announced, creaking back towards his chair. His friend smiled, revealing wooden teeth before reaching for the dice.

The door opens up, showing a small child followed by a really big reptile. The kid runs in, Gretchen moving after her up to a bar heedless of anything else.

"I'm going to have to divide my earnings now" Pion thinks to himself. Money was money though, and he had to start somewhere, so he lumbers out of the inn with the rest of his acquaintances.
