(Bad idea )

The old one drops the sphere and it travels down towards bug. Bug passes through the sphere on his way up, it hurts but it doesn't disintegrate his body. The sphere continues down onto the platform, removing part of the platform that is the groups only standing area. The old one raises his other hand and charges an identical sphere.

"Quick, Stop him! We have to survive until I can finish my technique!" the light elemental yells.

The sand spear stabs the old one, and a new crack of light radiates out in a different direction, overlapping the previous one. As more slivers of light have been added, they have all slightly increased in size. Now being large enough to see the number 35 written within them.

The old one drops the second sphere, destroying the platform to the other side of the group now, isolating them from the rest of the platform behind the old one.

The old one raises its hands and prepares to strike them both down with palms large enough to cover the remaining platform space the group is standing on.
