In response, dark energy emanates from the Old one's hand and he punches it down towards the group.

My hands glow with electricity as my Thunder Clap has reached full capability before I notice the Old One's weird glitch. Right away, my hands' electricity turns into light.

"Perhaps I've been going about this all wrong."

Bug and Wulf's attacks smash against the old one, leaving two cracks of light against its chest. Zale then fires a beam of light through Marv's quartz, causing it to spread into multiple beams that collide with the old one, leaving a sliver of light at each location.

The team's light elemental ally seems pleased with Marv and Zale's combo attack.

The old one continues, ignoring the slivers of light, raising its hand and charging up a black sphere.

I look up at the black sphere. "That does not bode well for my continued good health..."
