Didn't he take a lead tipped spear, fly over the Chimera, and when the spear melted, the lead dripped into the Chimera's mouth, killing it?

Basically he attached a chuck of lead to the end of his spear then shoved it down the chimera’s throat. The chimera tries to breathe flames and melts the lead. Then molten lead fills the chimera's lungs, killing it. Of course we'd have to find a substitute for lead.

I know a few poisonous plants we could use, but I would need someone to keep the heat off them, so they don't turn to ashes.

I could just cover it's mouth and nose in shadow and attempt to suffocate it....then again I think the tip of the spear might have a few lead compounds in it, not sure though but whateve.....wait, don't we have someone who can summon mettal?

Exactly so cant he summon some lead, tip my spear with it, I can attack the thing again wrapping the spear in shadows, and jam the lead direclty into its circulatory system.

....I meant stabbing it darn it, what do you think would happen if i stabbed it with my spear again, released the shadows around the led, allowing it to melt and pour liquid lead into it's veins.
