Traps. We could make an electro-magnet, hook it up to a small series of gears that would allow energy to flow to it, which would be hooked up to a wire to turn the gears, and there could be loose metal spikes or spears in small holes in the ground, and when somebody set off the trip wire, they would be pulled up by the magnet.

So my idea for the recent elementals was that they would fire their burning crossbows at the group, while you protect yourselfs behind the walls, until you successfully annoy them enough to make them move on.

Glad Jester asked if he could have so many weapons  but it doesn't matter in the overall story so i'm not going to worry about it.

All I've go is a spear, a gun, and a sword from the seventeenth century. I recycled the character from a project from history class. His great great great------great grandfather was an escaped slave participating in the civil war. He killed entire infantries single handedly before sailing back to Africa after the war ended, His entire village has lived in his shadow ever since....

Im very sorry that i havent been able to join into the rp from the start, i have been busy lately. Would i still be able to join the rp though. I could be sent in late by the military or whoever sent us in or i could have been transported to the wrong part of the planet away from everyone else. But if you dont want me in the rp that is totally understandable.
