I'm going to post it so that it is ready for in the morning.

Remember to introduce your character then explore some. Possible things to do would be to gain supplies, help with shelter, hunt, defend against elementals, and if nothing else is going on, track the colossus.

Ok, guess I need to give more information.

The portals send the squads to the location of the next colossi that is trying to enter into Earth's reality. Already on Earth there are various natural disasters and minor elementals, but if a colossi were able to enter there would be global damage. Therefore the squads have to eliminate the colossi before they can make it that far.

I would still lean towards the elemental's side.

They have humans break some age old pact between them, steal their power and then go to war with them.

I'd think that justifies a certain degree of anger.
