I was gonna rifle through your purse to try and figure out who you guys are working for.

I'm tempted to turn this back into something of a game, to be quite honest. I, as the narrator, could come up with different potential outcomes, and do a random number generator as a sort of dice-roll, to get through things like this, where folks aren't sure whether or not to post.
Though, at this point, let's just stick with GV's suggestion. He makes the move to go through the girls' things, and then hides the mugger kid (or maybe gives the kid up, whatever GV chooses to do). Either way, the ball is currently in GV's court, and you respond plausibly to whatever option his decision leaves you with. Like you're doing in the Apocalypse RP.

I was more wondering when Nadia was supposed to turn up to where she is going.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

Should we keep this story going?
I mean, this is an actual question. Should we? Does anybody here have any faith at all, that this can be an interesting story, and that it's worth a collaborative effort? Because there seems to be some confusion and anxiety and general disinterest, so to those of you still involved here, are you staying because you're genuinely interested, or are you here because maybe you don't want to hurt my feelings or something?

If we choose to continue I'll still try to post and help.

Thanks. I don't want you guys to think I'm desperate to have folks on board. I didn't want to have lackeys, to help me finish a vanity project. I really did want to do something that would excite, interest and engage all of you. I guess it just didn't turn out that way. Still, I do love this idea in and of itself, and so even if all of you end up dropping out, and I don't run out of juice, I will try to keep it going for as long as I can (like I did last time).
Hopefully, at least, if we ever get to that point, it'll at least be interesting enough for you guys to keep up with the updates. In all, though, I'm really just trying to take the project's pulse, before knowing how to proceed in the future. I want to act here, but I don't want to move along assuming that folks are with me, if their hearts aren't really in it.

Man, I'll keep posting like I have been. I like Wayne and I like playing as Wayne. Everything has just been slow for a while. I feel the same way about Apocalypse.

I was hoping it wasn't just me.
Glad to hear you're still on board. (And I'll try to have something up for Apocalypse by tonight )

I guess this is still a go, for now.
You can post now, GV, if you had something you wanted to add. And then Phi can go, if he has something to add.

Does anybody have something they want to pitch in? GV just posted as Wayne, so a post from Zale or Phi would be fine. If not, I'll try to whip up a post tomorrow.
(As always, if you have any questions, comments of concerns, let me know)

Nadia would probably continue doing what I said in my last post until something happens or its too late to chase anymore. You can go ahead and set up next post.

So, what do you think of the RP so far? I know it's probably moving along sort of slow (I'm trying to find a happy medium between too much action and not enough), but I'm trying to be realistic about what air of mystery and adventure would go on in a situation like this. I don't want to take forever to get to the juicy stuff (I promise, some interesting stuff is coming up soon), but I also don't want to take down an overlord in two or three pages.
Anyhow, aside from maybe any pacing issues, do any of you have any questions, comments or concerns you'd like to voice?

I like that you enplane the reasoning of why certain characters do certain things in the white space, but you could afford to put a little more faith in us as players.

Well, I'm definitely sorry if that's how it comes across. Really, I just hope I can make intentions fairly understandable to players, even if not understood right away to the characters they play.
Though, in the future, I think you might be right. I'll try to be more discreet about what things require explanation, and which things you might have already understood.

I'm just waiting for my cue that Nadia has gotten back to something story related. I'm not exactly sure where to send her after she went home.

She didn't head home. Remember, we're in Arizona. And they just arrived, so she doesn't have any established place to return to. Which is precisely why I'm giving them some place to go, as we speak.

That's what I meant. I thought we had an inn already.
Could you remind me what Gorak is again? I'm not quite sure what we're supposed to do now. So we need money and info on the stone? The stone is supposed to be in the city we are in currently right?
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. Gorak is the guy who owns this part of Arizona, and the stone is in his possession. He also owns a quarry which is presumable where he found it. He's also systematically luring in and murdering assassins, which is why Wayne is here to deal with that.

Thanks for the clarification, GV.
And Phi, I do apologize if that all wasn't already clear. I'm not exactly the best critic of my narrating style.
