Well it was pretty fun, I wish they would make a current game more like it instead of the other pretty terrible digimon games they have made.

I believe that the first anime, Digimon Adventures, was based off of the game.

The game was fun because you could raise your own digimon and it would eventually digivolve over time based on how you treated it. Eventually the digimon would die and would turn into an egg and allow you to raise it to a different Ultimate stage (Since Mega didn't exist yet).

Wow, They are actually making a game based off of Digimon World 1. I've been waiting for a game like this forever!  It looks like it won't be released outside Japan though
