Character (Well, User) Backstories

[Tsubasa & Wen Tien]

    Well over 100 boomerangs with flames along their edges filled the sky and rained down on the brigands, killing or handicapping many of them, before the original one returned to its owner's hand.
    "I am the wielder of Spirit's War!" said the girl who held the boomerang, Spirit's War.
    She had long, brown hair and looked to be young, not yet an adult but still old enough to begin to gain feminine features. Her body had begun to take on an hourglass shape but still had some of the chubbiness of childhood. Her eyes were heterochromic, the left one was brown and the right one green. She started to say something else but two kids ran up and one bopped her on the head and said, "Karen, we agreed not to attract any attention to ourselves!"
    All three kids wore threadbare clothes. The one who had bopped Karen on the head was male and carried a scythe. His hair was black and short as well as cut roughly in spots. His eyes were those of someone who had been hunted and chased after, showing the trials he had gone through. The third kid had shoulder-length, black hair and he had on his belt a dagger. His eyes were those of a mischievous kid who plays pranks for fun. Karen responded to the boy, "Ya don't need to hit me that hard, François!"
    "Yes I did, Karen," François replied. "If I didn't you would have said something even more provocative than you already did!"
    "Um, I'd hate to interrupt you two," said the third kid. "But the brigands are coming over here."
    "Why din't ya tell us earlier, Guillaume?" asked Karen.
    At that point, Aurum teleported in between the children and the brigands. She then fired of dozens of fireballs, lightning bolts, icicles, and wind blades at the brigands while erecting a barrier around herself and the children for protection. When all of the brigands were dead or unconscious, Aurum turned around and said, "Well then children what are you three doing with such powerful objects and where did you all get them from?"

    The three of them just stood there as Dryad, Jaina, and Casar ran over to check how Aurum and the children were. Karen finally responded, "W-w-we recieved the weapons from our families. All three of us decided to go and see how well we can use the weapons."
    "Don't lie to me," said Aurum. "I can tell you're lying and I don't like it."
    "We woke up and didn't know where we came from," said François. "But we did know our names and what our weapons are."
    "Sweet, just sweet," cried Aurum. "Some of what could be the most powerful artifact-weapons in the world and three children have them. Never before in the 1,285,712,285 years I have been alive has something like this occurred!"
    "Wait," said Dryad. "Aurum you're over one billion years old? You don't look a year over 21."
    "...I can't believe I just gave away my age," said Aurum. "I have Eternal Youth. My body will always be at 21 years of age, but my mind can still learn. Also,..."
    Aurum turned back to the children, "You three are coming with us to Tathagata. No complaining or trying to run. Understood?"
    The three children nodded. Jaina asked them, "So we know based on what you three have said that the white boomerang is called Spirits' War, but what are the other two weapons called?"
    "The scythe is named Sacrée Vérité," said Guillaume. "And my dagger is named Panacea because it can heal the wounds of any being it cuts and lifts curses with a touch."
    "I see," said Caesar. "Then shall we get going to Tathagata?"
    "Yes,we need to find somewhere to leave these children," said Aurum. "Preferably, in the guild."
    "Why the guild?" asked Dryad.
    "Because the guildmaster just can't leave children in the streets," said Aurum. "Half the members of the Mage's Guild were children that the guildmaster took off of the streets."
    "Ok, that would be the best spot to put the children," said Jaina.
    "Um, excuse me," said Karen. "But what if we want to travel with you all?"
    "Hm," replied Aurum. "I guess that that's possible. We'll have to see how well you three act."
    "YES!!!" cried the children in joy.

  One week later, Aurum's group arrived at Tathagata. They were stopped at the gate and Aurum vouched for the others so that everyone could go in. As they went into the street, Karen, François, and Guillaume stared in amazement at the activity in the city and asked questions about almost everything that was there. The group went straight to the Mage's Guild and went in. Upon going in, Aurum had the group head straight to the guildmaster's office. As she did so the guildmaster came out and said, "Ah, Aurum, so then these are the children that you sent me that message about."
  Karen, François, and Guillaume stared at the guildmaster as Jaina stepped forward and said, "Hello, Leroy. Nice to see you again."
  The guildmaster looked over at Jaina and Caesar, then replied, "Ah, the Rosenthal twins, are you two here to redeem that favor I owe your family?"
  "Yes, we are," said Caesar. "We would like to join the guild."
  "Alright then," said the guildmaster as someone else said excitedly, "Hey! Are those kids joining us?"
  The group turned around to see a redheaded girl coming toward them as she took greasy gloves off her pale hands and stuffed them in a breastpocket on her grease-streaked shirt. She introduced herself, "I am Chloé Laurent. I have been at the Mage's Guild since I was younger than you three and I am half-human, half-demon."
  "I remember you," said Aurum. "Aren't you the one who likes to mess around with makina? Where's your friend that sows and weaves all the time?"
  "Yes," replied Chloé. "I work with makina. If you're refering to Violet, then she's currently making clothes from fire right now for others to wear."
  "How can she do that?" asked Karen. "And what are makina?"
  "Violet has the power to weave stuff out of anything," said Chloé. "Wood, wool, light,water,darkness, etc. The clothing created from those have special properties such as darkness clothing allowing the wearer to melt into shadows.Makina are machines powered by lightning."

    "Lightning?" said Jaina. "Isn't that dangerous?"
    "Not really," replied Chloé. "Part of my powers is the ability to cause my hair to give off lightning that I am immune to. Also, I have this."
    Chloé pulled out a card from a pocket on her jeans. The card had the title "Hair Manipulation" and showed a picture of moving hair. Chloé continued, " This is a Power Card. It contains a power within it that the owner of the card can use. Every child in the Elemental Union has at least one. Specifically, a Power Card for teleportation. As I recall, Aurum is the only one who has absolutely no need for Power Cards at all."
    "I might be powerful," said Aurum. "But even I'm not so powerful that I feel no need to use Power Cards. I carry one on me for an impenetrable barrier to reduce the need to use my mana."
    "But you should have more than enough mana," said Caesar.
    "After all you have lived for as long as you have," said Jaina.
    "What are your natural powers, Aurum?" asked Dryad.
    Aurum sighed, "I had hoped to avoid answering that last question for as long as possible. I guess it can't be avoided now, but my powers are Eternal Youth, Personalized Spellbook, and Spirit Item Manifestation. Personalized Spellbook gives me one new spell each day and the spells become stronger with each passing day. Spirit Item Manifestation allows me to summon an item that boosts all my other powers. Now do you see how powerful I am?"
    Everyone was silent as they realized that Aurum was pretty much undefeatable by any of them. Then a door banged open and a blonde girl said, "Why's it so silent here? I brought clothing for the new kids with me."
    It was Violet and in her arms were cloaks of fire, water, ice, and lightning.

I'm a bit burnt out at th emoment from having to look up a heck of a freaking lot of infomormation concerning obscure tidbits of history so I can't read it at the moment but I will in a bit.

Tsk tsk, naming calling? really? I can't predict an outcome to a fight until it has already happened...you never know what will happen.
