Bad Romance, reversed? What are you doing, casting an incantation?

Have you listened to it reversed?Quite frankly I think that it sounds excelent for ripping open a portal in space and coming through with legions of supernatural armies.

Thaat may be the fourth creepiest thing that I've ever heard........it physically felt like I was trying to escape from my own skul just to get away from the horrible horrible sound........And that was before I reversed it!!!!!

ANYTHING played backward sounds evil. That's one of the many ways people execute spells in fiction.

Latin.

Greek.

Aramaic.

English backward.

Latin backward.

Greek backward.

Aramaic backward.

Written backward.

Recited in a mirror/reflective surface.

etc.

 Scary stuff.

Makes since, saying something backwards cals forth a portal from the inverse world through which demons and spirits can access the human world., although unless it was originally holy it won't be any more powerful than a pinprick so notmuch can sneak through, only some demonic aura, which is enough for us to be creeped out of our minds whenever we hear it.

You SO don't know paranormal physics.

Oh please anyone with an IQ of thirty can actual tell the difference between a ligit summoning ritual and gibbering nonsense but if you flood the internet with enough lies eventually someone will believe you and then this will stop them from getting into anything they shouldn't

No, not always. Sometimes the spell makes no sense to the user, or those hearing it, such as spells in another language. You know the words, but maybe don't know what they mean. They still work.

It's all subjective. THAT'S supernatural physics.

Exactly, ignorance does not make you immune to the rules.....although complete ignorance may prevent you from doing the rituals correctly anyway.

I understand part of his rationale, but it's flawed.

Because I believe in divinity (specifically Jesus Christ), I as a Christian would dare to theorize that because God spoke order into existence as it is, speaking the opposite of that (by an infinitely less powerful, but still power-imbued being) would bring about effects on the world. These effects produce the power behind what we know as incantations.

Similarly, potions only work when carried out using magical beings, or using matter from the body of a magical organism (moly, dragons' tears, fairy breath, eye of newt, etc.)

No it's not. Supernatural physics implies physics that is beyond that of typical ordered nature. Hence "supernatural".

Something we normally consider impossible, is not only possible, it's incredibly easy, long as you follow the right channels.
