Re: Power techniques

Myself
Administrator
Omnipotent Power Mimicry*:
1) For infinite powers:
-Select Power Backup* and make a copy of Power Backup* and Omnipotent Power Mimicry*.
-Use the backup to restore Power Backup* the following day.
-Select a new power.
-Make a backup of that power.
-Wash, rinse and repeat until you have all the powers you want.

2) For rapid switching, select Pick a Power*.

3) Want to make an arsenal of superpowered objects? Use this to mimic Ability Imbuing*, use it on whatever you want, then switch into a not-so-useless ability (Ability Imbuing* is useless without objects, but this avoids the problem entirely).

4) Going on holidays? Use Teleportation to avoid the plane tickets, then switch to a power to understand all languages to fit in with the locals.

5) Want to live your life again? Select Reincarnation Determination* and kill yourself.

6) Want permanent immortality? Select Immortality Manipulation and give yourself the form of immortality you desire.

7) Want a wish granted? Select Monthly Wish on the first day of the month, make a wish, then discard the power the next day in favor of something else (assuming the effects still apply).

8) To give your friends powers, select Friendly Power Gifting* and give your Omnipotent Power Mimicry* to them.

9) Exams? Humanity One! will solve your woes.

10) Teleported into a X-D Trapping Pit? Wait until midnight, then use Phasing* to escape confinement.

11) In a car accident? Regeneration will solve all your problems.

12) Stressed? Soar to cloudtop level with Flight* to escape it all.

13) Want to find other superhumans? Ability Detection* can find them and identify their powers.

Wow. I think if I could have one power, it would be this one. It's a way to have all powers when only having one. It's not greedy, but it is adventurous. Even if everyone got a power, you would still be special.
Bow before your unimaginably powerful overlord!

Wait a minute, I'm currently too busy holding a cork in mid air for petty groveling.

Welll. My avatar is currently Mr. Mephisto Pheles from the manga Ao No Exorcist.

“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Kinda surprising how much the Japanese know about European and American culture, compared to what we know about them...

Um, well, I was referring to the name Mephisto Pheles, but, um, yeah, that's pretty bad, too.

BTW: Mephisto Pheles is a demon, right?

Yes.

He may or may not be on the... good.. side, I guess. The less evil side, at least.

Fan Theory I saw thinks he may have some convulted master plan to use a order of exorcists and the half-demon protagonist to dethrone the demon king so he can take power over both worlds..

I just brought it up because I remember the name Mephistopheles being the name of the demon to whom Faust sold his soul for knowledge and power.

Maybe that's a hint into the storyline?

Just thought you should know.

I know that story.

He is a demon, so I suppose him using that name isn't really that.. odd.

The manga is interesting.

Well, if that theory turns out to be the case (especially since you bring up the fan theory of him being secretly power-hungry), then I wants my props when you come across it...

It has a wiki.

And apparently, They started making the anime version.

Oh, cool.

Well, I'm guessing you didn't read ahead (some arcane rule in the Bookworm Code, I presume), so I won't either. Plot spoilers are the worst.

I'll probably nose around there later, though.

My avatar is Masakaki from one of my new favorite animes: [C] The money of soul and possibility control. It died before its time

Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

I could make so many amusing avatars from that video.
