Remember, you are relying, at current, on one person who has had a brief training session as his only experience in games. I may be able to recruit my friend Cale, who has much more experience in these things.

Here are some powers which may be added early on due to simplicity:
-Flight: Eliminate the "no vertical travel" part of coding with a script.
-Regeneration: Have a script which restores hp over time.
-The Superpower List*: Disable the programming preventing selection of non-owned powers to an extent.
-Super strength: Increase physical damage.
-Invulnerability: Disable physical damage.
-Super Speed*: Increase movement speed.
-Teleportation: Move user to x/y/z coordinates selected.
-Distance Locker: Prevent change in distance.

Powers which wold be priority due to popularity, but be tough to program:
-Power of Imagination: Offers a selection of options (e.g. eliminate player, move self, enable power, negate power, kill, etc). Would be annoying to create this selection though. The ideas alone may need assistance.
-Underwater Breathing: Enable breathing underwater. Once there is an appropriate script for water behavior, it would need to be disabled with this power.


Should be FPS. It may have enemies (which would inflict damage) and cars/buses (which would be drive-able) since they are in the engine already. This is why I chose this engine. The avatars my be cars, trees, etc before I get either an experienced coder or enough of my own experience to code these in (they are already scaring me ).

I think it would, but knowing my luck, this is when New Beginning would surface and make us lose interest (or we'd keep it and I'd use Intuitive Aptitude* and Technopathy* to program it faster ).

Don't forget powers like Rollout, Digging/Tunneling, the various vision powers (X-Ray, Heat, Laser, etc), Wallcrawling, Animal Communication, etc.

And the various kinesis powers (Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Sapro, etc).

These all would be useful for various different maps and environments we'd help you come up with.

And the more powerful ones should probably be reserved for 1-on-1 against strong players, or against bosses, lest things get really boring, for lack of a challenge.

Well, if it's any consolation, if New Beginning ever did surface, one of my first acts of business (aside from poofing into existence every item, object, possession or privilege I've never been able to afford in the past, and bringing the entire Celadon mythos into existence) would be to make fully functioning versions of this game (and other as yet nonexistent games), complete with self-updating expansions.

Tunneling will be tricky, I will need experience for the vision powers, wallcrawling should be easy and they are few animals in-game.

The kinesis powers will all have differing levels of difficulty.

I may allow others to come up with some game modes.

Now that I finally have a little more free time, I'd be happy to help too with the programming, and some arts. I have some programming experience (mainly C/C++, a little javascript). Have you tried RPGMaker? It's a game software to create RPGs.
