Omniscience: Head a'spolde in a normal human body, barring Omnipotence.
“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

Omninescience.

If born with it, you're rendered comatose for the rest of your life (since you can never learn to control it, or even gain a subconscious control over it).

What would be a term for somewhat limited omniscience?

The ability to summon fire.

The Weakness: IT"S FIRE! You aren't immune to it, and even if you don't touch it it still put's out tons of heat. Have you ever sat near a big old roaring bonfire? Close enough to be uncomfortable? Well, if your shooting off big old fire blasts expect to feel that all the time. If fact, if you through a blast that was to big and hot, the shear heat generated by it would kill you.

Don't even think about using it in an inclosed space, either. Even if you don't burn the building down around your head, you run into the heat problem again. You could literately end up cooking yourself if you aren't careful because all the heated air has nowhere to disperse to.

Antimatter Manipuation
Good:
 - Manipulate (and stabilise, in advanced cases) antimatter.
Really Bad:
 - Where are you going to find that much matter to make a difference?
 - If you can't stabilise it, it will annhilate anything it touches. This could be good if you're fighting an enemy, but around friends it's not so good.

Intangibility or Phasing.

Pro : you can move through matter. And weapons won't affect you.

But I see huge problems with that power.

The moment you phase that also means you would loose contact with the ground.

So without having control over it and allow your shoes to have contact with the floor you would go underground.

Or even worse. The earth rotates around the sun with a certain speed, so you could end up in space.

And if only your body phases but not your clothing... See the problem?

Unless Intangibility removes inertia, you'd just start slowly drifting in one direction when you used the power..

Would that help against outphasing your clothes?

Your clothing phases with you?

An episode of Batman Beyond had a villain who phased. Because gravity was still acting on him, he ended up falling through the Earths crust, down and down, until he reached equilibrium.

At the core.

Ouch...

Another power that's not so great on second thought.
Mind Reader. To be able to hear the thoughts of everyone around you in your head.

That constant noise will drive anyone crazy.

And then, of course, and kinesis without control can be deadly to self and others...

Even kinesis with control can be bad for you in the long run.

Think about it: if you could pick things up with your mind, how often would you use your arms?

I once read a book about a girl who heard anything anyone thought about her.

This would have been bad enough, but she had been a child star before her power appeared.

Imagine that many people.

Hearing everything they thought about you.

The explanation for phasing can vary between slipping partially into other dimensions, being able to make their own atoms move between other atoms, being non-physical being of energy, etc.

Doesn't really matter. The point is you can move through matter.

And mostly you are also unaffected by gravity.  If not you get pulled to the core of the earth like in Zale's example.

I remember a comic where Wolverine had to fight Kitty Pryde. And aimed for her feet because he knew that she kept her feet partially unphased to keep contact with the ground.

In the case of Kitty Pride, phasing allows one to walk on air.
