I edited my lost post to take into account the -2 motes for the creation of the Paragon.

It is -2 right?

I'll have to continue the battle tomorrow.

Just got back from seeing Ghost Rider 2, and I'm trudging through my sleep state with every ounce of my waking strength.

I'd like to debate that with Zale actually but I see the point. I might just make an artifact that creates weapons which gain the characteristics of the domain of their wearer. That's basically what I was going to do with the crystal and tree anyway.

I have, an artifact is a divine instrument that is capable of one tier one action within reason, while a divine one is capable of two which also aid in divine combat by 2 points.

What I described doesn't really fall under either, in terms of the weapons so in theory as long as they do not break the laws of physics in some way I should be able to simply create a mundane item and then instill a miracle into it.
