"Why?" you ask.
"Because I choose not to be. All beings can make a choice about how they wish to be," I reply. "The humanistic approach to psychology says that we make the our own choices as to how we act and what our behaviors are thus I choose to be good and will be good." I got that correct, right? So...your demons aren't ever going to ever actually live up to being demonic?

If a woman does something, it's feminine regardless of what it is. If a man does something, it's masculine regardless of what it is. <Family Friend of Mine>
So, continuing on that logic, I add this: "If a demon does something, it's demonic regardless of what it is." Does that answer your question? Logging off now. Good night!

No, that sounds like a bunch of philosophical mumbo-jumbo.
If a person acts like an animal, his actions are still human, yes, but imitating an animal. Hell, if that's the case, how exactly does one "walk like an Egyptian" unless they are truly Egyptian?

Hazet was more parinoid about the fact that people with innate magical powers might decide to go and invade.
The people were freaking out because of the same thing. For them, Demon = Thing that uses magic innately. It's slowly loosing these connotations in the Free Cities, as well as in some of the towns closer to the gap in the Demonwall. Yet you seem to cling to this issue pendatically. One wonders why.

Go check your own post out. It says 'demon' not 'beings with innate magical power' and shows automatic fear. It does not say anything else and looks you're pulling our world's connotations into the LoC world from what I can tell.
Also, on the same page Gilgamesh says 'Does their demonic nature not cause them to seek out more destructive activities?" I think that sounds a lot like our worlds connotations. If I seem pendatic on this it's because I can find evidence that certain people deny and it certainly looks like people aren't fully roleplaying certain parts correctly.

I agree.
The demons have yet to do anything evil or immoral, so I think that part should be edited. If he's gonna be paranoid, he should be paranoid for the right reasons. Just like the gods and the people feel no need to fear Khadai or her Seven-Sin Handmaidens. They haven't done anything yet to deserve fear or distrust.

Thank you for your support.
Also, re-reading the posts, upon the first meeting between Gilgamesh and Mina, Gilgamesh explicitly says that demons make him feel uneasy, before he's even met them. My thought on this is, if certain people have already attached our world's connotations onto demons in the roleplay, why can't I do that to monsters? Plus, Mik Hael has already earned Mina and her races' enmity.

I think we should wait for Phi to get on before we add any more.
This needs to be cleared up first.

You're still counting the four right? They're weren't included in the ones I listed on the last page, due to them already being on your list.

She has a point I guess.
I mean look at me, I'm the god of monsters and Chaos. Yet have I lead an unholy army of abominations against creation on a mass war against logic, civilization, and the laws of physics...not yet I suppose. |

The four do not have names, they are 4 Endreakians that I lifted to hero status after spending the last several decades training them. just call them 1, 2, 3, and 4. Counting them along with the ones you have listed I have 9 heroes. |

I will explain this simply, since you seem incapable of understanding.
I. Made. A. Mistake. Do you want me to retcon not only that post, but nearly every post afterwards just because you can't let a single event go?! It's over. No one thinks demons are evil. Nada. Zip. None.

How will you identify them if they have no names?
You want them to be announced by numbers, like identity-less drones?

Monsters and Demons are both on the other end of the spectrum from my domains, it is only natural that I would feel, at best, uncomfortable with them.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. |

That my dear Phi, is if Mina's demons are anything like the demons in our world, which obviously they aren't. And going back through your posts, you never felt unease near Mik Hael at all. Doesn't that seem unfair?
@Zale: If you don't want me throwing every mistake you make at you when you're trying to say I made a mistake then don't make mistakes.

To be fair, at least half the time I didn't know what Jester's domain was.
And Gilgamesh's unease isn't based on anything the demons have done so far. I'm pretty sure I even said in the RP to the Watchman that Gilgamesh was comfortable with he demons, but couldn't find any reason to be against them.

Ahem. To be FAIR?!? By that time, Jester had already specified the domains for his god, so my argument still stands. Also, you said you may have said you couldn't find any reason to be against them but in the first meeting, you still said that demons made you uneasy, which is still bringing our world's connotations into the LoC world. You didn't give them a chance and now you guys are complaining when I'm telling Jester it's a bad idea to bring Muffin OoC when you did it in character. Can you see why I'm ticked off? I'm saying everything OoC and you guys yell at me when you're being hypocrites because you already did it in the story thread. I haven't yet brought anything from our world into the story except for copying the Youkai' forms and abilities as well as demonic forms but nothing else yet, and Mina's still recieved distrust from Gilgamesh.
