I'd like to use it, I really, really, really, would, but I know I wouldn't get away with it so I basically made it mostly for fun.

Although if you want to point out what makes it over powered aside from the level twenty dark side move, the fact that the flames are stackable, the idea that the second skill provides to good of a defense, the fact that Ragnorok is unblockable although easily dodgable, the note that a sword doesn't need it's own level up system based on amount of consumed souls, That the teleportation ability would be seen as overpowered in an escape type situation, that the radius of 20 meters for control of all shadows is a bit much even for it's placement in the leveling system, That the hell portal is a bi much in an escape situation and was explicitly made to either make a portalesque infinity fall or to allow Vault to use his level 20 move if he felt like it without repercussion, that the Reaper ability to mess with souls is still overpowered even with the time delay, that the whispering move seems more like something batman would use and is just too wrong in interrogation sections that it might break that part of the game, and that Tukorkep although not allowing the character to be able to do a killing move or even damage an opponent, is too powerfull because it would allow them to completely nullify them for 30 seconds, etc, for old time sake then sure go ahead.

Although, any mind if I just don't make a class sheet whatsoever? Considering that we only go up one level at a time and odds are that we'd probably never get to level 13 we might as well just make it up as we go along.

It's funny.

Soul 'sorbing is rated at differing levels of power depending on the game.

D&D puts magic that can meddle with souls at a rather high level. However, I recall other games/MUDS/Etc that let you go around nomming on people's souls at level one.

1. strings: Control ten retractable strings at the tips of your fingers that are each approximately 20 feet in length. Strings regenerate after being cut after 6 seconds, are each capable of lifting 30 kilos, and are 2.5 millimeters in diameter, durability roughly equal to average rope, can break any point along the string at any time if the user wishes.Strings can pierce substances if they are strong enough.
2. string 2: string length doubled, regeneration time halved.
3. string 3: Number of strings doubled lifting capability increased to 40 kilos
4.string 4: Durability of strings increased to nylon.

20. String 20. Number of strings doubled. Character reaction speed doubled, power of element increased to beginner level spell, Magic resistance of each string increased.

Um.

What precisely is your character supposed to be doing with strings? Because I need to know about effects, not how they come to be.

I can guess half of them, and I'm not letting you insta-kill someone by slipping nanowire through their eye into their brain unless you explicitly have that as a move.

Okay, what else would I have to specifically state I'd be able to do so I could do it?

If I did list that as a move would I have to explicitly put "pierce the brain with nanowire through the eye", or just "strings can pierce skin and bone."

Level 2 - 20 Skill: Inspiration
Vokken is on a journey to truly understand the beat that pulses within him, but requires inspiration to bring forth and shape it. On his road to understanding he will see many things, and as his skill reaches greater heights he will take some of them and paint them in sound.

The mechanics behind Inspiration is simple. Every time Vokken gains a level he will take an event that happened during the previous level and base a song on it, with the effect of the song being determined by the event. For added fun I'll take the "Big" events of a level, assign them numbers, and roll for which one triggered Inspiration to reflect the fact that you never know when it's going to strike.

Finale Effect: Coinciding with the next strike of a single ally, the song infuses all of its might into them. This strike does double the damage it would have normally.

Then, at any point after every other party member has taken an action, he can choose to bring it to a finale, triggering the finale effect. The catch is that, after it's finale has been played, he loses access to the song and can't play it again until he's taken an extended rest.
