...I give up on this, the second I try to be cooperative and take action, thinking what's best for the group, people duck out, and when I don't they come at me like wild wolves. From now on, I just care about the card game, about the forum, about the Rp's,  and about your opinions, anything I find annoying. I will ignore.

It would of been a great game, I'm sorry you're out, and if your leaving, delete the wiki.

I quit if you're treating this like a business, with you at the head, rather than a collaborative effort.

If you've already decided what you want done, and have no room for compromise, then what the heck do you need me here for?

It's not a matter of you agreeing with me. It's a matter of you being willing to work out a compromise we can both agree on.

The second thing You've said is basically what a CEO does, which is why a board of executives exist. If good ideas are given they will be considered motioned among it's members and then decided whether they will be put into action. Although I will have the final say so.

And it should be treated like a business, otherwise nothing will ever get done. Although we have no employees, we're all members of a board and need to think what our target audience would most enjoy. Without falling in line with stereotypical executives, ae out of touch with the consumers.

*sigh* Well, that's an inconvenient bit to get confused about.

Not knowing what all a CEO does in a company, the analogy sounded to me like you were trying to take unilateral control, without room for compromise. So, I do apologize for taking the defense.

Though, the matter at hand does still remain...some of these elements are in need of correcting.

So, here's what I suggest...

What if we allow for elements to differ slightly, between the card game and the wiki? Because the wiki is meant to show mythical creatures as accurately as possible. Most of the things that are made up, take the place of things that aren't specified by mythology (eye color, diet, habits, etc).

Though, the game is much looser than that, and doesn't have to be as technical in identifying the elements that define a creature's nature. So, we can somewhat be more lenient in designing cards.

If the card game lifts off, it will be a legitimate franchise. And regardless of what this is, it would not be a bad idea to replicate something that has been proven to work.

Don't get combative. That was my mistake just now.

I get what he means when he says that.

The operative word there being "if"

Again though. This is a forum, running it like a forum makes more sense.

If the card game lifts off, then what? We try to introduce it to other forums or something?

I don't understand how it would translate anywhere beyond an internet phenomenon, if that.

If he wants to make a profit off of it, I don't see why it can't be run with somewhat more structure. Long as he doesn't assume too much power. The point is, a collaborative effort which, if I'm not mistaken, is exactly what Jester had in mind. Only more organized.

Introduce it to other forums as a start, then maybe make a website where the game can actually be played that we can update  regularly. Once the game get's enough momentum we can maybe start up a thing on kickstarter or perhaps sell the warrior's of Myth Idea to an animation company, keeping the rights of course, and turn the entire thing into a franchise, printing off the cards and selling them, along with some artwork, and action figures. Maybe even a video game or two along the way. I already have a "free" book on MMORPG design with free software that I've been wanting to try out anyway.

Jumping the gun there. You have to actually make the game first and see if anyone actually even likes it. The unfortunate reality of the world is that not all ideas makes it. Very few actually get anywhere.

Of course....that's an Idea, we can start up a little side site for the card game that uses codes written on the card that tells extra information on the creatures and what they do.

Hehe, well, apparently, you're the only other one besides me who has any faith that our projects would be of ay sort of success on Kickstarter.

I, on the other hand, like the idea, and I don't count us out as a potential success story.

Now, as for the RP, everything is set up, anyone who want's to come up with a character is free to join. If your having trouble choosing one here's a fun easy way to generate random ones.

1. Choose either your favorite mythos or hit a random entry in the wiki. No gods

2. Flip a coin. Heads is a girl, Tails is boy.

3. Stop, now pick a random number between 1 and 4 before you read the next part.

4. Did you pick one? Good. if you chose 1. Your character was a researcher studying the mythos who was recruited by the organizaiton. If you chose 2. Your character was raised by that mythos. If you chose 3. Your character hunted said mythos. If you chose 4. Your character is descended from a member of said Mythos.

5. Now that your done pick the general appearance characteristics, and decide on a personality, and name.

6. Congrats, You've just created the new member of The C Team of MYTHOS.

I'm neither an optimist or a realist, if anything I'm a pessimist, but you'd be surprised how many people would support a project like this.
