You have the elements figured out?

Cool.

Could I see, in the WOM game thread?

Word version? What is the current version like?

An interconnecting web of elements with the four main ones of earth, fire, water, and air forming a square along the outside with the elements of light and darkness along the center with various lines arching out from each element connecting them to every other element in the spectrum upon which the combinations like poison or sand  are located with the other elements that are attributed to void located outside of the square forming a hexagram.

If you have a graph-looking version, that's just fine. I want to see what you've come up with, is all.

Not to mention, I'll probably integrate Sand and Metal back into Earth, and maybe a couple other things of that sort.

I want to make sure we're on the same page.

no, I've already got sand set up as a combination between wind and earth and metal a combination of earth and fire.

although I'd like to compress the elements of psychic, mind, and spirit into one void element called Sol or soul.

Do you really need combo elements. Wouldn't it be simpler to just label a card with two elements like in magic the gathering.

not really, no.

Shadowulf, I also want to add another element counter to void. Materia.

Rhetorical question...I'm saying combo elements are kinda pointless with such an easier solution present. Plus, since the whole point of this was to break down creatures into base elements. Recombining those elements is rather counterproductive. It also adds to a list that's already a little long. Theres a reason most games have only a handful of elements or other divisions.

still less complicated than the Pokemon chart or even the Yugioh chart and both of those did fine.

Those were actually much simpler than yours to be honest, though that's not the point. But of course I didn't expect you agree with me. Because you're never wrong and I always am. Isn't that right?

Doesn't matter that I was just offering a simpler solution than building up a bunch of combo elements. Doesn't matter that I presented my case in a friendly and logical manner. Doesn't matter if it makes complete sense. Because I said....and I'm always wrong.

Sorry, for trying to help.

Materia? Making up elements is sort of unnecessary.

Not to mention, I'm gonna combine some of the elements anyway.

Like Gravity is Gravity/Space/Void. Poison is Poison/Acid/Plague. Mind is Mind/Spirit/Psychic. And I have Life/Death/Blood.

I can maybe get rid of Sleep/Dream/Nightmare. And combine Sand and Metal into Earth as Earth/Sand/Metal (rather than my mistake of Metal as Metal/Magnetism). Also, Darkness is Darkness/Shadow, so I may do Light as Light/Color/Beauty. I would do Light/Energy or something, but I already have Lightning/Thunder/Electricity.

And to counter Gravity/Space/Void, the element of Time, as Zale suggested. The two counteract, just like Light and Darkness.

Materia stays as a special case, just like void.

we don't need a specific set up for the elemental system of the game, but I already classified Gravity under force, same as electromagnetism and well, force. Poison acid and plague can all funnel under the combination between life and darkness, not going to address the rest in this post due to length.

sleep dream and Nightmare can stay as a combination of mind and light or darkness.

I disagree with time counteracting void, but doesn't matter.

A special case? That makes no sense.

Void is space. Space is the equal and opposite of time.

Materia seems to imply matter, but earth, water, air and fire are already matter.

And I don't see why there needs to be a combination of elements. At least, not the ones you suggest. That doesn't make much sense to me, either.

Wulf. they stay. I'm not going to argue this because it's a different mindset, and we can finish it later after we solidify the actual rules.

void is less space and more non existance, and materia is everything that lies in existance.

And that's it, No longer thinking as a storyteller, Now I'm a toy maker and ceo.

And from now on we're removing all elements other than fire, water, earth, wind, light, and darkness, all possible elements fall under those aspects, and it keeps it simple.

Okey-dokey, after uploading the last of these pics, you can work on this game and this wiki without me.

I cooperate with peers, I don't do dictators, sorry!
