as far as we know at least....I think it is implied that on a mythical sight we wouldn't list a regular beaver...

I'll use the Latin name and say that they are deprived from the normal version.

“She'd become a governess. It was one of the few jobs a known lady could do. And she'd taken to it well. She'd sworn that if she did indeed ever find herself dancing on rooftops with chimney sweeps she'd beat herself to death with her own umbrella.”

One more thing,

On, Genies.

They become something different when you shove them into a lamp?

Do they get reality bending, or is a wish more like "Go do this for me" ?

depends on how powerful the genie, I think the less powerful chore type ones were put in rings instead of lamps.

Cheshire Cat---fits the description but isn't exactly evil-more like insane but not evil

Lets run the numbers here:

Reality Manipulation/Illusions-Yeah puts it high in power
Intangibility-Yep
Teleportation-Yep

Or we could just go with dark wizard like everyone does.......

I mean, If we already have Djinni and Genies are just Djinni in lamps..

Do they suddenly get reality warping for the duration of their time imprisoned?

Re: Warriors of Myth Characters

I thought that answered that....technically a genie is any spirit imprisoned in an object, a djin is a classification of desert spirit.

You type REALLLYYYYYYYYYYYY fast, I dont even know how you get them within seconds of eachother. Could you please make a list of ones you want me to add to. It would make it much easier to organize.

No, but their reality bending is reduced severely, so they can only use it to grant the wishes of others (until released); thus they can be stated to be the most powerful djinni of all (under their King, who is so powerful that he has NEVER been captured); this restriction on their abilities is why they get so ticked off, and try to make your wishes go horridly awry.

Add to any as you see fit.

And I really didn't type. I copy-pasted the template.

So, they have reality warping, but they can only use it for wishes?

Wish
In reply to this post by Zaleramancer
How about they just get to store magic for a long time?

Ie the lamps are prisons for disobeying some rule and they are forced to atone by storing their magic whilest in their prison granting  3 wishes to a mortal.

And the wish amount varies, Wish. Some grant a few, and some more than others. That's why I made up a rule to fit anybody who comes across this page:

the weaker the djinn/genie, the more wishes they have to grant

low- 7

medium- 5

high- 3

master/awesome/bada$$-1
