Is it possible for a ghost to have wonderguard?

I was going to use Wonderguard on my team  but I see your point about it. I'll see if anyone has a suggestion on how to handle this.

I was actually thinking of switching my team to a mono-element group. Its not the smartest strategy wise but it makes more sense in a RP.

Only Shedinja has Wonderguard, making only 5 categories of moves able to hit it, but Shedinja only has 1 HP Max to make up for this.

I know the world of Pokemon better, but ESRP allows for us to build our own world, unless you are wanting us to follow mostly on the tracks of the old one. Either would be fine for starting next.

I have some ideas for if we do start this one. We should limit everyone to a specific type or a specific type combo (Fire/Fighting for example) that way our characters have some unified theme. This would also set us up for a story in which our characters could be aiming to be a gym leader of the types we pick.

So, if a person picked Fire/Fighting, they could use any Pokemon (Non legendaries and starting with lowest evolution) that had either the Fire or the Fighting (Or both) type. At least one Pokemon should have the type combo already in the Pokemon universe though.

Generation Six is almost released. To think, we originally planned this when Generation Five had not even been released yet.

Evolutionist's Stone RP would use the old story as a guideline, nothing more. We could decide what stays there and what goes, but for the most part, I'd try to help work the story into a new one.

For this one, though, yeah, I like the theme idea. I was gonna suggest it myself, but yeah, I think it's a good one.

I'm going with a Team Rocket themed character, so I feel that I should use Poison as one of my Types, but I'm unsure.

Psychic, Ghost, Dark, Steel. There are so many choices.

Not to mention rumors of a new type being released with Generation Six.

This is the new eevee evolution, Sylveon. People believe that it was released early and that it is being used as a mascot because it will be the eevee evolution for the new "Light" type. Also, this is believed since its type is being kept secret, and the deer legendary has a "Light" theme as well.

I don't think the new types are a bad thing. Its how they are going to be used that is going to get on my nerves.

I've seen so many better made fan Pokemon that the new official ones seem to just be lacking. Luckily, out of the six Pokemon revealed so far, Sylveon is the only one that I do not care for. The other five give me hope that this generation will turn out well.

 Well, considering that I stopped liking Pokemon when I was like 7 years old, I can't say I empathize with the depth of emotions you guys apparently have about the issue, but I must say Sylveon looks very pretty. What seems to be the problem with the way it looks, or with having a new type? I mean, not to sound all hipster and stuff, but since when is innovation a bad thing? Not like the new stuff is for our generation anyhow. It's for newer, more simple-minded kids, who will look at the pretty colors and think, "Ooh, cool! I wanna buy one of those!".

You really think they respect the strategy of the game, or the legacy of the original generations? Heck no! Kids today are stupid, vain, shallow and mindless sheep. They catch onto trends faster than most people catch contagious disease. And that's what sells. Fads.

To be perfectly honest, I just want to see the complete list when the PKMN folks make it to 1,000. And when they make a game where all 1,000 can be caught, throughout the entire Pokemon world, from Kanto until now, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy the heck outta that game. Hopefully, it'll be not just the regular PKMN games, but also some current-platform equivalent of Pokemon Stadium. Don't you guys think that'll be fun?

Oh, and BTW: We're only playing with Pokemon up to 5th gen, unless the 6th gen are all released by the time we begin.

You said that about Generation Five when I said we should include it originally

We will just include whichever Pokemon are out, if Generation Six comes out mid-RP, then we can just have them migrate in.
