Three Word Story

This is a game I first played in the old days  when I still played Tribal Wars. The rules are as follows (some I have thought up for clarity):
1) Post only three words in your part of the story. You can post more words, but just not as part of the story.
2) Your words must make a logical continuation of the previous words. However, the story can go in any way you please.
3) Do not post until either someone else has posted or a week has passed. This only includes posts adding to the story.

I shall start.

"Once upon a..."

I look forward to seeing how this goes.

Only 3 words isn't much.
Does that include words like "a", "the" ?
Since I can see situations where you need at least 5 words to say something meaningful.

It is three words, including minor words such as "I", "and" and "is". However, I may alter this if it proves necessary. The idea of the three words is to see how it progresses.

Well, it's funny to see how words can be used differently than intented.
Like how I ment "kind" as in kindness, and it was changed to "kind of".
Since anyone can add a different twist it's hard to predict how this story will go.
